Hey guys, this is my first build for smite fire and first time posting a build.
In this build I will be showing Nu Wa and how she can be played in most situations, I feel as if Nu Wa is a great all round god and easy to learn, this guide focuses on more advanced strategies but some simple ones as well, I hope you enjoy the build and guide and let's get to it.
Pros
- Good Clear
- High Burst
- Amazing Mid/Late game (if not behind)
- Global Ultimate
- High MP5 value
Cons
- Early game clear is a lacklustre
- Easily Ganked
- No Real escape out side of Ultimate
- Long cooldowns on all abilities apart from Shining Metal
As I have made a build for all roles it's hard to cover the items used
, I will be talking about the most used items and how they work well and could be changed.
Shoes of the Magi - These provide e excellent magical power and movement speed along with magical penetration, these are what you must buy almost every time, as the recent cool down reduction nerf to shoes of focus these are less seen when playing nu wa, however you could still buy these.
Chronos' Pendant - An absolute must if you have brought shoes of the magi as this allows your abilities to be used a lot more frequently and will lover your ultimate cool down to 88s, also this offers a good amount of power.
Obsidian Shard - Another absolute must, this can be changed to spear of the magus, if somebody already has obsidian shard and you are working well together as a team.
Soul Reaver - Another highly advisable late game item as if gives nu WA the ability to almost one shot assassins and deal large amounts of damage with your shining metal and clay soldiers
Rod of Tahuti - Great finisher as it provides even more power and damage/burst potential
Why the lack of stacking items? - Nu Wa really doesn't need the stacks, she is capable of bursting down enemies without stacking power, you can build these if you want to though.
This really depends on what role you play, if you are playing solo or jungle you and your ally must get the back harpies or the mid camp then move to mana, if solo just farm and outlast your opponent until you feel it's right to go in for the kill.
If you are jungle help out the mid until the damage and mana camps are up or until the enemy assassin leaves mid, from there just rotate and kill jungle monsters according, it takes a lot of skill to Hank with nu wa it requires good communication and relies of the stun.
If mid then just play as you would, (I assume you already know) and if support then remember to clear the side boar or back harpies, (only one) then remember that you have your passive root and stun with movement speed to assist you carry.
If carry this is the difficult part, you must have a good support and must farm until you reach the mid/late game, if you fall behind you become useless to your team and will be ganked easily.
Nu Wa excels at hurting down groups of enemies at range and a skilled nu wa could be very valuable, you must be able to hit your 3,2,1 combo and sometimes it's essential to have your foot up to easily target opponents, remember that if you hit the stun the shining metal still travels after the clay solid explode so you will deal extra damage for hitting and stunning, this is why soul reaver works so well, you can root you enemy and then used clay soldiers and shining metal if the target remains alive use mysterious fog to either kill of catch up, by then your shiny metal should be off cool down for you to skill shot the kill.
Nu wa is great in team fights and her ultimate wards the map and deals damage, if your team has no wards and lots of people are MIA, use your ult to show them to your team and also deal some damage, gem of isolation helps here as it slows the entire enemy team and could result in a huge team fight advantage.
Look to pair Nu Wa with gods that have a lot of damage or cc potential, gods like Athena assist even more to Nu wa's ability to control the enemy, gods like mercury and neith can also help as their roots and stuns can assist in hitting your shining metal.
Nu Wa is the best God at pushing isolated towers and lanes, as her clay soldiers deal a good amount of damage along side her as well as lane minions that might be present if possible look to take towers as quickly as possible to gain a large amount of exp and gold to extend your lead, as nu wa you want to be on par or above your opponents as being behind can lead to serious feeding and low output of damage and utility, if in late game and an empty lane has a tower try to take it alone without the enemy noticing, her great clear and stealth allows her to be almost invisible on the mini-map and push towers with ease
Nu Wa is one of the best burgs mages in the game with her all out utility and damage she can easily initiate at team fight of easily end one, she can zone down her targets and give her team the best opportunity for kills she is also a good Mage to have if you lack damage or cc on your team and can change the tide of a game by killing multiple enemies at once.
This wraps up my Nu Wa guide and build and my first guide on smite fire I hope that this was helpful to players and could be easily interpreted
