Intro

I feel that Chaac is best as a tank bruiser personally and that's because of his amazing pokes and sustainability. You can easily just poke and out sustain the enemy by the use of his passive, and in a pinch or if you feel like jumping into a dog-pile and walking away with a couple kills his ultimate will pave the way.

Items

Warrior's Tabi
This item gives Attack Speed Penetration and Movement speed. Its a great item to start with as it's well rounded and allows you to easily adapt to any situation early game.

Focused Voidblade
Focused Voidblade
This item is for if you are facing another Physical God. This will not only help prevent any damage he is doing to you but also allow you to further penetrate his protections as if the Tabi wasn't enough.

Runic Shield
This item is for if you are facing a magical god in solo lane, it provides some much needed magic defense as well as allowing you to continue building up for physical power so that you can poke for more damage.

Qins Blades
I would get this against any god who's defenses are really through the roof or have a lot of health and you don't really see their health dropping when you attack. The 4% of total health damage helps a lot when you have a higher attack speed.

Qins Sais
I like this item when I'm facing squishy gods because after i poke and torrent they have a lot of missing health allowing me to take full advantage of doing 20+6% of their missing health as damage. This is also good for finishing off tanks but i still prefer the blades for tanks all around.

Frostbound Hammer
The Slower they move the more times you can hit them without them escaping. The 25% movement speed reduction can allow you to keep the enemy god within range long enough for your abilities to cool down your for you to basic attack them to death.

Titan's Bane
In case you have someone out there who thinks they are really smart by building up their physical protections buy this item. You will eat through them as if they didn't buy any protections at all.

Magi's Blessing
Magi's Blessing
Playing against an Arachne in the jungle? Maybe a Ymir in your lane. With magis blessing you will negate a hard CC every 45s

Bulwark of Hope
This is just in case you need a little extra magical protection, it also has some health so it's a good all around item if your taking a lot of magical damage.

Jutan's Wrath
This item will give you some extra penetration but if that's what your looking for then the other items I listed are for you. The Main attraction to this item is the Passive 25% cooldown reduction. Allowing you to spam your abilities as if they didn't already cool down fast enough.

Creeping Curse
Easily one of my favorite actives, It slows allowing you to chase for the kill or escape. At the 3rd tier you can choose either to stop heals for 5s in case your playing against a heavy healer like Hel or Aphrodite. The other 3rd tier will allow to you slow their attack speed in case you have a Nemesis who is attacking you are even a Bakasura

Hand of the Gods
This item allows you to take camps with ease and push your lanes. Late game i like to use the 3rd tier of it for the stun, it's only 1s but that lasts a lot longer than you would think.

Girdle of Might
This item will give you some extra power or penetration if you or your allies need it depending on which one you end up picking

Meditation
Meditation
This is really a waste late game unless you go for Salvation, but still i prefer not to get it as the other actives are far better.

Skills

Overflow
Your passive is extremely useful early game after your mana buff is worn out. 5 basic attacks and you get to use an ability for free. I mainly attack the minions to get the 5 then use my free one to poke or if I'm low on health I get a free heal, which are expensive early game.

Thunder Strike
Extremely good poke ability. Use this whenever possible it will allow you to push your lanes extremely fast, do a lot of poke damage to the enemy early on(making him base sooner or even allowing for a gank). This is usually my top priority.

Torrent
I use this for diving, juking and getting the extra protections in team fights. Early on it's not very useful except to dodge and dive, But late game when there 5 enemies clustered together this will give you 100 protections in both physical and magical. Talk about tankiness.

Rain Dance
I love this heal. throughout the 6s it is active it heals you 12 times, so for the 10hp at the start it's 120 hp without the scaling effect. This will keep you in the lane for an insanely long time allowing you to fend off gank after gank push after push.

Storm Call
With my basic build I do 610 damage with this ability plus another 182 additional damage, bu this isn't even why I use it. This ultimate will make you immune to CC and damage in general. You can survive Bakasuras ult with this. That's not all, there is also a 3s silence added on. As if you didn't just do enough damage now they cant use abilities to heal or escape now that your abilities are off cool-down another 100 protections stacked up and you either auto-attack yourself some kills or you escape yourself.

Skill Priority

Storm Call
Thunder Strike
Rain Dance
Torrent

I only get Rain Dance if i notice that I am below 60% health the more than 50% of the time.

Thunder Strike is your main source of damage and your early poker. It is also great for clearing the minions but i only do this if i can also hit the enemy god.

Obviously your ult Storm Call Is top priority not only does it do a lot of damage but it also silences the enemy preventing escape heals and other annoying abilities they might have for 3s

Torrent is only the lowest priority because the majority of matches I don't have time to get it because I am spamming my heal and my poke, avoiding damage.

Conquest (Solo)

Starting Well

Tabi
Tabi
Hand of the Gods
mana potion X2
health potion X2

From Mid Camps to First Base

Camps Before Lane
Start off at the mid camp, only if mid lane wants to help with your mid camp side not the other, it is important not to use your Hand of the Gods unless absolutely necessary(enemy is contending for camp). By the time your done at mid camp your passive should be charged up so now head over to the damage/speed, use your use your Rain Dance, kill them for jungler and then head over to your blue and pop hand of the gods on the mana camp and pop your Rain Dance while attacking the camp boss. Once again you passive should be charged and you should level up your Thunder Strike.

Entering and Out-Sustaining Solo Lane
Your Goals at this point are as follows

Don't Die- This is top priority, you die they get money lead and exp lead.

Stay In Lane Longer- Preferably until you can max out either your Focused Voidblade Focused Voidblade or your Runic Shield

Poke Poke Poke- The more you poke the faster your enemy has to base leaving you there to get the gold and exp lead, this will also allow for your jungler to come in and get some easy kills. A FED JUNGLER IS A HUGE PLUS EARLY TO MID GAME
First Time Basing
By this time you should have a nice lead on gold maybe even snagging a kill or two while you were in the lane. purchase your next set of items and hurry back to the lane, sometimes if I really need it I will pick up MeditationMeditation before going back. But if I can help it Creeping Curse and Girdle of Might are far better options.

Do not level your Rain Dance past level 3 until your Thunder Strike and Torrent are fully upgraded.

Mid to Late Game

From this point on you should have a solid Gold and exp lead from making your enemy base, If you've taken out your first tower then push the minions up to the second tower and start roaming the map working with your jungler to gank and help other lanes. Be sure to come back and push the minions in your lane as often as you can.

Team Battles

I always start my team battles with in this order Thunder Strike Torrent Storm Cal Rain Dance

At this time I just auto-attack away at all of the low health enemies who can not use any abilities to stun, root, silence, heal or escape until I get to about 30% health.

Then on my way out I like to throw another Thunder Strike near my feet to do more damage to anyone following me out of the chaos.

Enemy Gods

Hard-5

Nemesis
This is honestly your biggest concern and she is easily dealt with. To fight her you will want Creeping Curse for sure. right after she uses her Swift Vengeance get within range and pop your Creeping Curse, follow this up with your ult this will make it so she cant shield or she will shield for your ult either way your home free. Just stay alive and make her base more than you, hopefully you can catch her off guard and the jungler can gank her. Also the hand of the gods stun will stop her shield.

Hel
She is only so annoying because of her heal, there are a couple ways to prevent this, one way is for the more experienced and one is for the people who enjoy button mashing. For the more skilled get Weakening Curse and Fist of the Gods, what you are going to do is poke her and use your Torrent to tele-port over to her then right away use your ult. After about 2-3 seconds use your weakening curse, and if you haven't killed her yet use your fist of the gods to stun her and finish her off. The ultimate's stun will stop her from healing for 3 seconds the weakening curse will stop her for 5 seconds and then the stun will stop her for 1 second if you time these all with a 1 second overlap that leaves you with 7 seconds of not healing. Button mashers are going to do the same thing but your probably not going to get the full 7-9 seconds out of it. You goal for Hel is to poke her and force her to heal as much as you can. She will run out of mana and have to base or spend her money on actives and potions instead of items.

Challenging-4

Ao Kuang
His squallSquall is really annoying but its not an issue as long as you poke with your Thunder Strike constantly and be ready to use your Torrent to teleport away you should be fine. Just try to avoid his tornadoesTornadoes. Creeping Curse is very helpful so he can run away with his slitherSlither.

Medium-3

Bakasura
The only reason he is at medium difficulty is because of his Butcher Blades. He is easy to stop though Enfeebling Curse will slow down his attacks but not completely save you. Fist of the Gods will stun him and he will waste his butchers blades. His ult is another story, to survive his ult use your Thunder Strike followed by your Torrent to teleport you away.

Easy-2

A Joke-1

I guess it's all up to you but i feel that the qin's do help out a lot for more than just it's passive. The attack power and speed help also.

not true.

so you have to go trough protections of which tanks have a lot so that is why it only works against squishies.

I re-checked and you are right it does have to go through protections so i went even further with my math and gave actual numbers from builds i see.

Chaac
Base Damage 244

Athena
Physical defense of 250
Health of 3,327

so you got
Damage Dealt
(base Damage) x (100/100+(Standing Defense) x (Percent Penetration))- Slat penetration

Standing Defense
(base Defense x Percent of debuffs) - Flat Debuffs

Now we have no debuffs to take into account so lets calculate the regular damage first. And this is with titans bane because obviously it's against tanky gods.

Basic Attack Damage
(244) x (100/100+ [(255 x .33)]-40)
244 x (100/100+ [168.3]-40)
244 x (100/100+ 128.3)
244 x (100/228.3)
244 x 0.438
106.877
so lets say 106

Before Defenses in RED
After Defenses in BLUE
Missing Health in GREEN
Qin's Blades Extra Damage Base extra Damage
133.08
58.291

Qins Sais Extra Damage Before Defenses
Athena at 100% HP
20
8.76

Athena at 75% HP 3,327 x 25% = 831.75
20+ (0.06 x 831.75)
20+ 49.905
69.905
30.62

Athena at 50% HP 3,327 x 50% = 1663.5
20+ (0.06 x 1663.5)
20+ 99.81
119.81
52.479

Athena at 25% HP 3,327 x 75% = 2495.24
20+ (0.06 x 2495.24)
20+ 149.71
169.71
65.576

Athena at 10% HP 3,327 x 90% = 2994.3
20+ (0.06 x 2994.3)
20+ 179.658
199.658
87.454

So The sais don't actually do more damage to her until shes already below 50% health
I did the math and the breaking point where the damage is the same Athena needs to be missing 1884.666666666....
That is at 56.6476% Missing health
So not until after you did half of her health are you going to surpass the amount of damage you would have been doing with the blades.

Also i wanted to say that i wasn't doing this to be an *** you still might think sais are better because it continues to scale after that but i just did it so everyone would see how it breaks down with an example

My average attack speed is at about a 1.6, so I'm not attacking slow. The 4% of maximum health does begin too add up. For example your playing against someone like Athena who generally has like 3-3.5k health 4% of say 3.25k is 130 extra damage every hit and that does not get reduced due to their protections.

3,250 x 0.04% = 130

So instead of hitting like 120-180 on her every hit your at about 250-310 every hit. Against a tank that amount of damage every hit with the frostbound hammer slowing them your going to drop them with ease.

120 + 130 = 250
180 + 130 = 310

Rather than doing low damage at the start of the fight and then picking up steam I'm doing constant damage on them. Against a tank i'd rather do Constant good damage then good damage when they are about to die anyways. and the sais for squishy gods is because most squishy gods have good escape moves so when they are low you want to hit them harder so they don't get away.

Thank you and the only reason I don't have a skill order is because it really depends on what's hapenning in the game so it is very different every time. Although i did give an explanation on how o level your skills and their priority in "From mid camps camps to First base", but i guess it's best that i make it it's own sections thanks.
