Introduction

Hello, my friends, I am Cameron (or BrokenTeapot on YouTube (click here)) and this is my first SmiteFire guide.

Odin is my favourite Warrior in SMITE...

...because he is OP. Really OP.

Odin is great at burst damage in early to mid game and a great crowd-controller late game.

This guide briefly explains Odin's abilities and my recommended build for The Allfather himself!

Enjoy!

Abilities

Odin's first ability, Lunge, is an area damage leap. It has great synergy with Raven Shield, Odin's second ability, because Lunge detonates Raven Shield on landing, doing extra burst damage to your target(s).

Odin's second ability, Raven Shield, is an area damage shield. It has great synergy with Lunge, as said above. Raven Shield also detonates at the end of its duration.

Odin's third ability, Gungnir's Might, is an area damage ability. It slows your target(s) if hit, so Gungnir's Might is great for chasing your target(s).

Odin's fourth, ultimate ability, Ring Of Spears, is an area barrier and debuff/buff. It is a barrier allies can walk through but enemies cannot. It also slows opponents' attack speed and stops enemy healing. Odin is immune to slows and roots if inside Ring Of Spears.

Odin's passive, The Allfather, gives him more physical power if enemies die inside Ring Of Spears.

Items

My recommended starter item, Bluestone Pendant, gives Odin slightly more damage, slightly more mana and small ability damage-over-time. This helps Odin do more damage with abilities early-game.

My recommended first item, Reinforced Greaves, give Odin more health and more movement speed and he takes less crowd-control effects. This helps Odin stay alive early-game.

My recommended second item, Jotunn's Wrath, gives Odin more damage, more mana and less ability cooldown time. This helps Odin do more damage early-game.

My recommended third item, Breastplate Of Valour, helps Odin take less damage, gives Odin more mana and less ability cooldown time. This helps Odin stay alive early to mid-game.

My recommended fourth item, Titan's Bane, gives Odin more damage to tanks mid-game.

My recommended fifth item, Bulwark Of Hope, gives Odin more health, helps him take less damage and he takes less crowd-control effects. This helps Odin stay alive mid to late-game.

My recommended sixth item, Runeforged Hammer, helps Odin do more damage if he uses Gungnir's Might. This helps Odin do more damage late-game.

Consumables

My recommended first Relic, Curse, slows enemy movement speed and reduces enemy healing. This helps Odin chase enemies early to late-game and has great synergy with Runeforged Hammer.

My recommended second Relic, Meditation, restores health and mana to Odin and his allies. This helps Odin sustain himself and stay alive longer mid to late-game.

Health and Mana potions give Odin health and mana over time. This helps Odin sustain himself early-game.

Potions Of Physical Might give Odin more damage mid-game.

Elixirs Of Power give Odin more damage late-game.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading! This is my first SmiteFire guide, so constructive criticism, not hate, is welcome.

I know this guide is very brief and I know my writing-style is boring, but I wanted to write an informative, quickly readable guide.

Goodbye for now, my friends!
