Confuse. I guess antisocial also means less interaction with people.

I want to be treated as someone with special needs now. I seem to have scored the highest. Will this mean I become this forum's crazy person - like ICEN was the forum's drunk?

@Ghraf, to be antisocial doesn't necessarily mean you don't have friends or can't interact with people - but you just simply prefer the company of you and yourself over you and others.

I know it doesn't, and actually, antisocial in those terms means outright seeking pain on others and a need to control or have power over others, it can also be a complete disregard for others existing at all. It's also known as sociopathy or psychopathy, depending on who you ask.

Preferring the company of yourself is called introversion. Many psychopaths aren't introverts at all, usually the opposite. They often socialize and interact with people just like everyone else, except they simply think differently or typically hold others in contempt.

I've taken a few psychology classes, the terminology is complicated.

I guess I should have something more along the lines of "less need to acknowledge others".

I just noticed, there are a lot of avoidant people here as well. Being both avoidant and dependent seems like a contradiction of some kind.

Yeah, people seem to equate antisocial to introverted, which are completely different things. Being highly introverted is much more an issue with self-esteem and schizoid and paranoia than it is antisocial - there are plenty of introverts that hold compassion for others, but are either too shy or apathetic towards social (not necessarily intimate) relationships.
