I like it sometimes, but if it's early game and it's long and drawn out, it really screws with your city growth and your progression forward. Everybody else will pass you on pretty much everything and leave you stuck in the old ages, lol.

the reason why I automatically play in teams against the AI. an early attacks screws me over I have started a game with pentar and as he can say I only have my starting swordsman (was a warior). oh and I hate losing too LOLZ

Yeah, I played a single player match the other day, and got attacked early on (Eff you Alexander), and I had to focus on building troops for defense, rather than building up my cities. And because of that, everyone else began advancing faster than me. Unfortunately, it became an insanely long, drawn out battle where he took my second city early on because I had a few troops, then I went and took it back and took one or two cities of his in return before signing a treaty.

I guess it didn't help much I joined with an ally to attack Greece again, and I ended up taking their last city. Was labeled a warmonger, and had most of my allies turn against me and eventually war me all at once, lol. Like sheesh, none of this wouldn't have happened if the *** didn't war me and take my land first...

Anyway, if you guys ever feel like playing, hit me up, and I'll definitely be down for playing. Always love playing this game.

btw in the topic of civ who is going to buy the new one that's coming out. (doesn't req right away I'm waiting till it's a bit cheaper.)

I'm definitely going to pick it up eventually, but probably not immediately.
