I am an texture-artist with earlier experience of texturing 3D models. I am currently looking into creating custom skins for SMITE.
I need help, all texture-files seem to be in TEXTURE2D file-format.
If you have any information about the file-type or wish to cooperate with me on my journey to make SMITE a richer game, feel free to comment!
texture2d can be opened in GIMP with proper libraries installed. it's basically a DDS texture. I have successfully been able to extract and edit files, but I cant figure out how to put them back into the game, I think you need the UDK(unreal development kit) since it is based on the unreal engine. And I'm not paying for that so... best of luck to ya. If you make any breakthroughs, please let me know, send me a message on here, or for a faster response, in-game name: same as nickname on here.
