Maybe HiRez is going back to the days of no patches per week? It used to take a while to get a new patch.

They said they are focusing on going back to old gods and revamping them, So a new god will most likely not come out.

Well that is not neccisarly true, I heared from reddit there IS going 2 be a newgod, and just because they are vamiping does not mean there will be no new god.

Of course they are making new gods, but they are currently focusing mainly on revamping old gods (such as the Hel rework) and releasing new gods inbetween. I think we'll be getting a Hel rework next patch and maybe Thanatos the week after.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
