Just like to take a minute and let everyone know that - for the time being, until that completely ridiculous dropping glitch is patched out - that I'm going to be taking a hiatus from Smite. It's more frustrating than it's worth to try to play like this.

I feel like spearheading this complaint since I'm one of a few people who have this issue, but has anyone ever talked about how badly the loading screens are in Smite?

They allow people to get into the game before you! If your computer is that bad, you may be upwards of a minute late to lane! A minute is only a minute, but in Joust or Conquest, that minute means a lot!

That, combined with the recent patch and it's love of dropping people back to the title screen, has made me appreciate LoL's loading screen so much more even though I haven't started it yet.

I'll be honest here: sometimes I actually get somewhat nervous when meeting new people. There's a part of me that's rational and puts his best foot forward, and the other that's... somewhat scared to invest in people.

Reason I bring this up is mostly because I'm super glad that I decided to sign-up here. Making a name for yourself in a majority of strangers is hard, and not being sure what direction to take to make that name is even harder. That being said, I really appreciate how kind the lot of you are, and I hope that as time goes on I'm able to become at least a quiet but respectable part of your community.

Before I go to sleep, I thought I'd get my foot in the whole blogging thing by telling everyone why I had a very... disappointing dinner.

My mom and I recently got 35 dollars worth of discount at Texas Roadhouse; tonight, after my doctor's appointment, we went... And it was honestly the most disappointing dinner I've had in a long time.

Mind you, the food was good and I was full afterwards... but something about the atmosphere itself was unsettling to me and neither of us really enjoyed our time there.

On the bright side, our waitress got 9 dollars in tip to make up for the fact that we're never going back there, probably.
