Recommended to get blink whenever possible, in joust, blink up mid lane and ult to completely seal the lane off and trap people in.

This is a fun build to do in joust, and potentially other modes as well. It allows you to get max CDR (so max omi), and also meet all required mana for omi on your third item.
This allows you to play really like a mage, but very tanky still. I have saw quite a bit of success with it, playing 10 matches, and winning 7 of them now. A good team comp also helps though and good pairings against the enemy still.
This set up allows you to come near the top in damage (usually only a 2-3k difference from others in damage, though I have been top damage in 3 games), while still being top mitigated as well.
