Notes go back as soon as you can get book of souls because you can use your ult to get back when you have enough to finish it afterwards. Polynomicon is a must with the build, incredibly OP with the spear

When starting, its important to use shield wall before you leave the fountain to have the spear already at the start to clear speed a tad faster.

I recommend not leveling up your ult or confound until your strike and shield wall are already maxed, you can do much more damage this way. With poly, you can burst people quite easily. It is important to use your spear after abilities as often as you can.

As for being able to get ahead, its important to time going back with your ult in the beginning of the game at the same exact time solo or mid are going for their jungle buffs, it helps them out too. There isnt another jungler that can do it faster than Athena.

Even without getting a single defensive item, you should be fast enough to get away, and if it seems dangerous.. your cooldown should be high enough where you always have your ult to get away to another god. You'll have around 2650 hp at level 20 without any health items. Rotating is a breeze combined with Chronos Pendant.

I recommend getting Soul Reaver based on the protection levels of the other team.

Yeah, ew. Ob shard 4th, before ??? No physical protection? ? No offense, klock, but this is not a good build.

How would you change it, Kriega? Off-hand I'd drop since only would get the full benefit and it's hard to keep people in there long enough to. I would also drop for something more defensive and basically drop all of the pen items except for depending upon enemy team comp because is pretty much all the pen a guardian needs.

Pen boots, Breastplate, void stone, celestial legion helm (?), Soul reaver, spirit robe/situational (poly?).
