New Moderator and Guide Character Limit

First of all, I'd like everyone to congratulate our new moderator, BullD0G!

BullD0G has already done a ton of stuff to help out around the site. He has been leading up SmiteFire's video / streaming team, finding people to stream for us or that are interested in making guides. That is already a lot, but he has also helped out around the site as an Editor, keeping the database up to date, and posting News and Patch Notes.

Because of this, the staff felt that he deserved some recognition, and we believe that he will make a good and fair Moderator. Thanks to BullD0G for all the work you've done so far, and we hope to keep seeing you around the site for a long time!

Guide Character Limit

This feature has been brought up many times, and it's finally here on SmiteFire!

The character limit to differentiate between a "Full Guide" and a "Build Only" is 1000 characters, including BBCode. We have set the limit as pretty small since SmiteFire doesn't have that big of a guide influx, but enough to filter out the guides that have barely any text. If you want to see Builds and Guides set the "Guide" filter on the guide browsing page to "All." It will be set to "Full Guide" by default.
