Hi Guys, Here's a how-to Serqet guide focused on conquest.
This is more focused on gameplay rather than builds.
I'll try to keep it simple and to the point so that everyone can get a good idea. SO LET'S JUMP INTO IT!
Passive
So Serqet's 1st, 2nd and her ultimate apply 3 different poisons on her enemies as you hit them.
if the enemy has 2 poisons on them, your next basic attack consumes 10% of there max health.
if the enemy has 3 poisons on them, your next basic attack consumes 20% of there max health.
For experienced players: Due to this passive, auto-canceling is NOT recommended on Serqet. Pls Susano and Loki mains. Please
Ability1: DeathBane
Serqet dashes side by side really fast thrice, reduces protections and applies passive.
Damage: 50/70/90/110/130 (+45% of your physical power) (for one single dash)
This is your main damaging ability, early to mid game the damage is nuts.
Ability 2: Cobra's Kiss
Serqet launches 2 blades one after the other. if blade(s) hit a single enemy, they walk towards Serqet harmlessly. If you hit them on 2 different enemies they just walk towards each other.
Damage: 50/75/100/125/150 (+50% of your physical power)
Madness Duration: 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4s
With the help of this ability, you hit Deathbane's all 3 dashes for full damage, which makes up for your main combo. 2 -> 1.
Ability 3: Ambush
When you press 3 once, she hides invisible and rooted in that spot, until someone comes really close(12 units). when you press it twice, she leaps from that spot.
Damage: 80/140/200/260/320 (+50% of your physical power)
This is your engage/escape
Ultimate: Last Breath
Serqet first stuns and then throws the enemy is any direction she wants. This ability does true damage i.e Your damage is directly deducted from opponents' health bar, armor is ignored.
Damage: 140/230/320/410/500 (+55% of your physical power as True Damage)
Stun: 1s
We'll discuss more on this later in the guide :)
A very crucial part of jungling is effective ganking. How good jungler you are, depends on how strong your ganks are. But how do we get those nice, juicy ganks?
Introducing, the platinum rules of ganking
1. Dont gank when the enemy is in minions, or in tower
You blink in like a mad man, and then, your 2 hits minions. That's it. Now it's awkward coz the recipient of your gank is giggling, and there is nothing you can do about it.
This is applicable to most of the junglers, avoid ganking between minions and in the tower while early game. Most of jgs have single target damage, you don't want that to hit a ******* minion now, do you?
2. Dont W-key at them
you blink in, no minions no tower this time, But you just miss your 2. So... now what?
your 2nd ability is your CC which pulls people to you. So now, you won't be able to hit all 3 dashes of your 1. Practical scenario, 1 dash maybe 2 but never 3. That's your total damage halved, or even less. so if you miss ur 2, it's better to back off.
3. Make your lanes Aware
You gank in, everything works correctly this time, But the enemy mid laner escapes with 1 hp, there jungler comes and counter-ganks you. You turn around, almost dead, and your mid laner was just taking red buff.
The lane you are ganking must be aware that you are gonna gank, especially with gods like Serqet. Why so? When you hit you 2, it not only guarantees that you will hit all dashes of your 1 But your mid/duo lane also gets to hit their stuff. Your 2 a 1-second cc, it's very easy to land everyone's abilities. You dont need to do all the damage yourself now, do you? before you gank, spam a nice VSA2, or VSA3 wherever you gank.
So we learned how to get juicy ganks, below are your mechanics.
The main combo of Serqet is 2-> 1, then couple of auto attacks. It uses your passive and gives out loads of sweet damage!
Dont use your 3 for damage
Your 3 is a leap, use it to engage/escape or even secure kills on those people running with 1 hp. But if you use it for damage, there is no getting out. You lose all ur mobility and are vulnerable to counterganks.
Your ultimate
New players think of this ability as a kill secure, to use on a 1hp target to confirm kills so that they die even if they aegis. But, thats it, for an ultimate?
Your ultimate is a rocket launcher, and you just used it like a baseball bat. When you ult, it stuns and pushes your enemy. Use it to throw those aggressive solo laners in your tower, to push mid/duo laners out of position. Its a great initiation tool, as it massively out positions your enemy.
Both combos 4 -> 2 -> 1 / 2-> 1 -> 4 are fine. I prefer 4->2->1 as you apply full antiheal first( Yea, your ults stops ALL healing), but both are fine.
Sit down guys, its storytime.
It was Smite World Championship 2018. Rival vs NRG, clash of the titans a Big BOI matchup for sure. We used to have 5 matches back then. Rival wins the first 2, then NRG comes back. Adapting is the silent poison, he keeps getting his team kills, but is never recognized by Rival. So they keep giving him Serqet, and NRG wins game 3 and 4.
At game 5 however, Rivals notices and Serqet gets 2nd banned. There were more "Top Tier" gods waiting to be banned, but Serqet was the one. Adapting picks Fenrir, Rival wins. Had Serqet been left open, and NRG would be in the finals.
In the right hands, That's how strong this god is. She is never really those "SS tier" gods. Its how versatile and useful her kit is.
The god is mechanically hard to master for any new player. But is it worth? excuse me?
It was worth it, It is worth it and it will always be. She is a team-oriented god, which makes her much better those thanatos mains out there.
As of junglers, only god that heavily counters her is Awilix, due to her ult.
Silence is really good against Serqet, as her dash is a double-tap, that means it isn't very fast you can silence her easily while she tries to run away. Thanatos is decent, But Ganesha is just Brutal.
Magis cloak is a really good counter item to Serqet. Serqet won't be able to confirm her damage, as she won't CC you.
Magic shell and Beads are the best relics against her. Aegis isn't worth
Magic shell saves you from that ult, beads from CC.
Serqet is very valuable in healing meta, she cancels all healing with her ult. Pick her against those aphros, and Goobis mains.
Serqet is a heavily single target, get in -> get out god. focus one enemy, destroy them and then get out. That's your way to go.
People love crit, do they.
As much as I love crit ( Critcules, am I right guys!), that is just a fun and a meme build. Not good in a serious matchup.
Bu But Serqet 1 can crit right? Yes sir, it can. But would your 1 hit all crits? or even if you build a lot of crit, would you have enough power? how hypercarry are you with crit?
The truth is, that even with crit and power you can kill about one person, not more than that generally. The reason is that you have huge cooldowns, you dont have any attack speed steroids, and you are as squishy as Loki so one CC ability on you, and there you go back at the fountain.
With a hybrid-power build, you can focus their MVP, get him murdered by your ult and combo, and get out. Crit makes your damage at the mercy of RNG, which is inconsistent to say the least. You can probably build one crit item, but not more than that.
Serqet has been a very popular god since the last 4 seasons, But is difficult to play correctly.
As you have read, I haven't discussed a lot about builds. I feel once you guys get a knack of her, you should build whatever suits your playstyle, rather than copy pasting. The basic builds have been given though.
I wish best of luck to all my readers, future Serqet mains!

Bran, do you agree with his assessment on crit?
But this build direction is also good, and the justification for it is solid IMO.
