Is hide really that good on him? Ik it has good protections but I feel the conversion of mana to health it too low to matter and the passive just isn't strong enough to warrant building it over just another item like say shifters, am I missing something?

Hello to all I just want to say guys like kriega1, stuke99, gulfwulf and others on this forum know what their talking about, I've been testing their builds and the corrections they recommend to other people posting builds.
I use their builds in Arena which may sound crazy but I use their logic on the builds while playing and I must say I'm very successful with with their builds and corrections, the only problem I have is the amount of SCRUBS on random Queues their terrible also I turned off Crossplay because I find without the Nintendo Switch players I get more cohesive play.

I used Gladiator's Shield as they recommend and the sustain got me the final kill on Ares while being jump by Hera, Kukulkan and Chang'e.

Okay well Stuke99 has a Cu Chulainn build of his own if you want to check that out, also yes of course any item with healing procs is going to get you through situations like that but the cost effectiveness, especially in arena where you can just back and heal all the time it is not worth the gold. You could make an argument that it can be useful in Joust which I would partially agree with, but Arena aside from those slim situations of needing a small heal to win a fight it is meh at best.

it totally depends on the tank, while the shields are indeed better in conquest and are picked up with a clear (early game) goal in mind in other modes the extra sustain they provide for certain characters is too beneficial ( King Arthur or Osiris are great users in any mode because of their spam abilities capability).

You should rush Runic then get boots, after that you can choose to get Glad Shield third.

Or, you can rush Runic then go into Glad Shield.

I guess it would depend on the matchup though, maybe some matchups you can get Glad first, then go into runic/boots.

I feel as though skipping boots through two whole item slots, not even including your starter, is basically signing a death wish. Your movement will be lacking immensely causing you to be highly susceptible to ganks. And skipping out on a power spike that the power boots give you means you’ll be getting outtraded by the enemy solo.

Ok cool, Id think glad is great solo but not really necessary in joust right? Like if they had 2 physical I could rush mystic and if 2 magic I could rush runic?

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
