When Xbalanque toggles on this ability, his Basic Attacks deal additional damage. When the bola hits, it splits into 2 that hit enemies up to 30 units behind the target for 37.5% damage (on-hit effects do not apply). Pressing the ability again cancels the toggle.

Introduction

Hi, my pseudo is Switcher and this is my first guide so I hope you won't be hard with me :)
Also english isn't my first parlance so I apologize for language mistakes.





Xbalanque is a great god and I would share to you my experience because he really rocks
In the following parts I will explain my choices concerning skills

Skills

Dead of Night

ʘ Well, it is a nice passive if you can proc it more than three times ( personal record ) each games, the best way is to use your ult Darkest of Nights just after casting Poison Darts and before kill your prey with Rising Jaguar .. Good luck ! :)


Branching Bola

ʘ What an amazing skill ! So why don't max it earlier ? Because : OUT OF MANA you willbe, so listen to me you should.
Damages are insane but manacost too, in a good fight in early game you will approximately fire 20 auto attacks ( 10/15 for ganks ) plus, your deadly combo : Poison Darts + Rising Jaguar .. you HAD a mana pool.
" Yes you are right dear Switcher buy you recommended usso why don't we use it to offset? "
Ahah lemme explain : you have the Meditation and from now on once in a while you will gank as a roamer, help other lanes and only back when your HP don't allow you to continue your killing spree therefore you have to be efficient in your ganks and quick for the switching lanes ( your lane -> mid lane -> the other lane) try to do this in less than 1m30' and finally back to your lane.
Of course you can put one skill point earlier but why for ? 10/20 damages on each strikes knowing that you will miss some & When you can just roll on them with one more point in one of the two others spell .. not worth it trust me I tried.
But, yes there is a but, the damages aren't insignificant at all especially in the late game and i'm not talking about the awesome split .. so keep it for the mid/end game when you HAVE TO toggle on it each fight !


Poison Darts

ʘ Part of your deadly combo Poison Darts + Rising Jaguar
Just don't use it to farm creeps or only when you are jungling ( see " Creeping / Jungling " for ( few ) explanations ).


Rising Jaguar

ʘ DAT Skill ! Is YOUR skill for .. everything ! Kill, farm, escape, initiate, chase .. As you will have understood this skill is your main skill and because the damages are insane I max it early because it's your golden key for your expansive ( and pretty awesome ) build and consequently the win.
The free control is a real plus because you will juke/enrage your ennemies they will be like " TAKE DOWN THIS F*****G MONKEY !!!! oh wait .. he's behing us ! " aaand they are dead.
On max lvl on will one shot the ranged creeps so don't be afraid to use it.
And even if the cooldown is a bit high and this is principal source of damage until you are good stuffed don't be afraid to use it in his various ways.


Darkest of Nights

ʘ And here we are, the amazing ult that isn't amazing at least or maybe it is .. I guess :)
Na I'm kidding, just hard to master, at fist sight isn't but when you try to really by efficient whith ( especially for the passive ) you have to know how and when use it :

- To Finish an ennemy ( Passive * Basic attack range boost )
- Chase an ennemy ( Movement speed * Basic attack range boost )
- Help the team ( Assist * Cast on middle in teamfights )
- Initiate a gank ( Movement speed boost * Ennemies can't see you coming )
- Escape from ****ty situations ( Ganks for you * Ganks on other lanes * risky teamfights )
- Create fear in ennemy ranks
- Being awesome

Creeping / Jungling

A quick and short chapter to explain how to use your skills

- On max lvl Rising Jaguar one shot ranged creeps

- To farm camp in jungle when Rising Jaguar is maxed : initiate with Poison Darts take care to hit the 3 creeps, then you can Basic attacks one or twice the big one or immediately link with Rising Jaguar and finish with Basic attacks

- You can solo the Gold Fury when you get Deathbringer but be aware of ennmies situation and your HP

- Also buy wards all through the game isn't a bad idea, actually it makes the difference and it is really crucial to ward your jungle on strategic point : * on side lane you can ward in the middle jungle acces. * the entrance of the Fire Golem and the Gold Fury are very important because of the important trafic there is.
So, please, for the team, and the victory, buy wards even if you are the " carry ", 50 golds can make the difference ( ok actually it's around 400 golds but TOTALLY worth it ) :)
