When Xbalanque toggles on this ability, his Basic Attacks deal additional damage. When the bola hits, it splits into 2 that hit enemies up to 30 units behind the target for 37.5% damage (on-hit effects do not apply). Pressing the ability again cancels the toggle.

Basics/Introduction

As Xbalanque, I only use my ult mostly as an escape, but sometimes it can be used to secure a kill. Remember to use the Xbalanque combo (2+3). Branching bolas (1) is ideal for clearing minions early game and building stacks for Devourer's Gauntlet. Remember to be very cautious during early and mid game. Once you have all your items purchased, you will deal an insane amount of damage using your basic attacks, so much so that I rarely use abilities other than my ult when I'm fully built. But still, exercise caution late game. This build has worked well for me in Joust, Arena, Assault, and Siege, with Joust and Arena being ideal. Feel free to comment, vote, and experiment with your own build. Other than that, there isn't much else to say. Good luck, have fun, and be sure to wreck with Xbalanque.

Items

Devourer's Gauntlet, Hastened Fatalis, Rage, Deathbringer, and Executioner are essential with Xbalanque, but Qin's Sais, Witchblade, Ninja Tabi, and Jotunn's Wrath are all possible substitutes for Asi. Other substitutes (that I'm unsure of) for Asi could include Ichaival, Odysseus' Bow, or Hydra's Lament. But I'd only recommend Qin's Sais or Ninja Tabi, because I'm unsure about the effectiveness of the other options.

Pros / Cons

Pros

Very good late game
Good lifesteal
Snowballs very quickly when fed
Unbeatable basic attack speed and dameage
Great crits
Very high mobility
Has potential as a jungler

Cons
Squishy early and mid game
Slow movement speed early game
Vulnerable to CC

I agree with the person above (only he can be a good jungler but not for ranked. same as Ymir jungle) also why have sprint and Hastened Fatalis. If your going with sprint you won't need Hastened Fatalis as you get the same boost. Also do you need to be very precise because missing means losing the movement speed. I only recommend Hastened Fatalis on melee characters as they have a guaranteed hit.

and for your more pen build. you know Qin's Sais doesn't give pen it gives bonus physical damage based on enemy max HP.

also wouldn't I recommend Girdle of Inner Power and sprint because as an adc you will need to get a Purification Beads because when you get stunned you're dead.

Also your skill order is really going to hurt you as you don't prioritize a skill. this means your damage will be less let's say you are playing against a xba who prioritizes a skill he will have a much higher damage on some skills starting at lvl 10. so his combo (as Poison Darts is prio 1 then Rising Jaguar) will take more health from you then you do with your combo.

Also your ult is only something you should lvl at lvl 5 to have it but after that it will only scale in movement speed and the damage from his skills are better.

missing teamfight section, no bbcoding, also missing item and skil, explanations

Also, Xbal has no innate lifesteal so idk what u mean by better lifesteal. Also his attack speed is pretty bad compared to ither hunters, and in masters (which is where i use xbal) xbal jungle will piss ur team off. His clear time and mobility is okay, and his gank potential is all right with his ult, but he doesnt have the utility or quick burst of a traditional jungler, for example, thors ult plus spin to win is reall good burst, but xbal ult plus two plus three means he just lost both his escapes and his two isnt even that uch dmg. Also there is no hard cc in his kit, making it hard ti relieve lane pressure.

There is a much better build which Ive been working on that gives the highest dps possible fir a hunter, and Xbals innate 80 power (30 from passive and 50 from toggle) means he outboxes every char in the game (except a few, but im making my own xbal guide right now so...) I obv cant mention the build right here bc i play ranked, but in my guide i will eventually reveal it anyway. This is higher dos than either of kretts builds or a standard ichaival power spike build.

but since missing sections and bbcoding, downvote

check out jordenitos bbcoding guie that he updates for tips
