vamana - destroyer of worlds

i have played vamana since day one and he remains my favorite god thus far because of his long range CC, dangerous ultimate, and great survivability. I have examined and tried most of the guides mentioned here on smitefire with some success, but found that they didn't really match my playstyle. This god has already a very strong base defense and makes a stellar tank if built that way, but i prefer to build damage as he can survive most fights without the need for defensive items. He is great lane partner and his ability to push is often overlooked. I find that besides the first few waves he will dominate middle lane by stacking points into umbrellarang. This build may seem unorthodox but i assure you that it kicks ***.

Reinforced boots really give you a leg up on livability and regeneration and is more important early game as it will allow you to be more aggressive while dealing normal damage.

Frost hammer is really something that can be replaced with better items such as Titan's bane, but if you're like me and hate losing kills this is a must have.

Ankh of the golem is a work of art, it pair nicely with frostbound hammer and silver fox girdle. must get.

Finishing Death bringer is a game changer: it really makes vamana absolutely deadly enough to kill most gods in just a couple of seconds, especially in giant mode. This is about as deadly as you could ever want to be; just pick up a few buffs and start slaying.

Defense for the last two items breastplate of valor's cooldown reduction will save you in a pinch. grab hide of nemean lion if its all melee, feel free to substitute for Leviathan hide also if magic is more of a problem.
