This build has been working for me. Usually you can opt for magi's boots, but with my playing style, I tend to be more aggressive, poking, frontlining, etc., and with this I need mobility, so I get travelers boots. More experienced players could get traveler's boots. At the end of the game you can sell traveler's for magi's.

CDR is a must for Chang'e arena, you have to able to move quick, spam abilities, and get out of sticky situations. Valor and Genji will give you the necessary protections and give you 30% CDR. Shield of regrowth is vital in order to keep your death count as low as possible, and will provide some sustainability and 10% more CDR.

Shaman's Ring will increase your poke power as well as healing. With the evolved ring, you will be able to harass the enemies. Rod of Asclepius will boost your attack power and healing, and provide even more mobility.

With the coherence of the build, you should be able to poke or push past the enemy frontline and harass the squishies (non-mobile preferably) in the back. If you take aggro, the build, especially Shield of Regrowth should let you escape.

Did I mention it's an extremely fun build?

Introduction

This is a build for Chang'e, designed specifically for Arena. Opinions or comments about Chang'e are purely based off of Arena and my experience.

Currently X Rank Chang'e.

To start off, as you may have heard, she has great poke damage, similar to someone like Vulcan. She's nowhere near as viable healer as Hel or Aphrodite unless you capitalize on her healing throughout the game, aka getting Rod and power items and being a backseat support rather than a frontline/aggressive player.

Chang'e was not my first god, although she is my favorite. I never felt comfortable with Chang'e until I was rank X. She's an easy god to play, but tricky to master.

Skills

Abilities

I don't even know how to do the fancy formatting.

Anyways, here's me explaining her abilities and how I use them in Arena.

Passive : Be aware that you can send your bunny to get items. However, don't rely on this. It's Arena, and always beneficial to return to base and heal up. With the mobility factor added in, going back and forth should only take a split second. The other half is that she gains +25% movement speed when casting an abilty, as well as no backpedal penalty. This is very useful when chasing an enemy, escaping an enemy, or maneuvering yourself within teamfights.

Crescent Moon Dance : This ability. This is 1/2 of her waveclear. It does a decent amount of damage, but I see it more of a poke, something to annoy your enemies, and sometimes send the squishies back to base, or even deter them from entering a teamfight. Combined with her movement passive, this can be used to constantly poke and poke and poke your enemies without putting yourself in too much danger.

Moonlit Waltz : This ability is absolutely amazing, and let me put it first: this can be an escape, but not in the same sense as a dash or leap. This ability will not go through any enemies or players, and can easily be blocked by enemy or map obstructions, so beware of those especially minions. Minions will be the cause of your death when your only escape is minions, but you get bodyblocked. You die. Another thing to watch out for is that a smart enemy player will target you when this ability is on cooldown. You have no other escape, and lower your defenses so much when this ability is down. However, again, if you have your third ability up, (3) you can use that as an escape is Shield of Regrowth's passive is available.

Moonflower Dance : This is the other 1/2 of her waveclear. Use this ability on the SIDE of the minion wave, (so you hit all minions) then cast Crescent Moon Dance without hesitation in order to finish off the wave. This is not a viable healing early game, so do not waste your mana attempting to heal your group something minute. This is also why I hold off on Rod. Low health team members should return to base when possible. It has a short cooldown, however, do not be afraid to use this offensively.

Waxing Moon : This is her extremely amazing ultimate. Along with short cooldowns and high damage output, this ability can chain stun enemies, with a possibility of a 5-second stun. This ability can be used to help escape. Do not be afraid to use this to save you or an ally's life. The #1 thing I hate seeing is Chang'e players using this ability SOLELY to finish off players. It is a powerful ultimate, and you should communicate using VVVR or VVVD. Coorindate this ability with your teammates. A great initiating ultimate, lifesaver, or finisher. This makes Chang'e a jack of all trades, truly.
