Yo, I am here doing my 2nd guide as of 9/4/2015 with my guide for Kali, the Goddess of Destruction. First off, I need to apologize about how bland my guide looks to others, but I am only just starting on Smitefire, so feel free to leave some tips on how to improve them. So let us continue.
Now, Kali is a high burst assassin, she requires a few handy basic attack items, along with any others, If you are looking to play as her and don't agree with one of my build items, you can choose your own. Don't be forced by the guides.
Pro's:
Incredibly High Burst
Can Melt Squishy Gods Easily
Her Passive Gives Her A Chance To Leap Into Towers To Get Her Target
Con's:
If she is caught by enemies without her leap and stun, she is in trouble
Runs out of Mana incredibly quickly
If she misses her target in a team fight, or a team mate steals it, she may die.
I told you, my guides are still very new. You can't expect a huge guide from me straight away, I would love if you left me some tips on how to make a good guide in the comments, I guess it is goodbye.. for now

Here's a link to the BB Coding guide that I've seen other prominent users recommend, and am using myself to help learn the ropes

As for your build itself, it does have a long way to go, as you said. My easiest recommendation is just look at other guides. Consume Smitefire, and you'll learn what you like and don't like about how guides look. You have the Pros/Cons section, which is nice and covers some basics, but going more in depth is the next step. Looking at the items section, use brackets around each item to label it around an item or ability. -> Hastened Fatalis From there, just explain the basics of each item! We can all look at it and read that it gives us movement, attack speed, and removes a de-buff. Your job is to tell us WHY that matters. "It matters because it helps you 1. use Kali's quick attack progression, and helps you stay close to your mark and get the kill." Go over how you intend to use each item, and how it interacts with the other items. For example, most prefer build [Warrior Tabi]] on characters for more power. It's arguable on Kali though that you don't need the power and can build Ninja Tabi. Just abuse her attack progression alongside Qin's Sais for all of your damage. Her Incense ability also gives her more power, so you can afford to build Ninja Tabi.
As for your build, it looks rather stock and makes sense. I do question building Hand of the Gods after it got nerfed. It's still okay in Conquest if you want to secure objectives consistently, but it isn't a viable way to help wave clear anymore, which is all you have in Joust. She can take camps solo just fine later on.
While on the topic, you should also add an actives sections. Purification Beads is solid for every god, to escape Crowd Control to either live to fight another day, or secure your kill. If you still want to build Hand of the Gods, you could consider building it into Fist of the Gods if you want to abuse back to back stuns to get a kill. Building Creeping Curse would still be a better item. Either of it's finished versions kill your opponent's movement speed, and should allow you to get your kill.
Thanks for the link to the coding guide, you helped alot, I will try to edit it bit by bit
Plus, you can solo gold fury pretty easily as Kali if you have lifesteal and some pen. You won't be able to do that with your current setup.
You might also mention in your guide somewhere that people should actively communicate their mark to their teammates, because their teammates can't see who it is until they're nearly dead, so this could save a lot of kill steals resulting in Kali's death.
