Introduction

Hi! You can call me Sen.
This is actually my first ever guide and build on this forum.I decided to make a guide for Fenrir .I usually play Arena with him or actually any other god because Conquest is quite toxic these days and so is Arena or any other mode in fact but let's not dwell on that.Let us begin then ladies and gents.Oh and by the way I am open to criticism so tell me your thoughts.

Items

Essentially you will want to build items that would go great with his abilities or you don't have to I ain't the boss of ya'.So let's see which to build and which not to build.

[Offensive Items]

- Fenrir really has some mana issues early in the game so this isn't really that bad item for him.
[He gets some MP5,Cooldown Reduction,Physical Power and Mana] but I wouldn't recommend it.
He gets more mana but at the cost of physical power.
-Mythymoo dies while fighting an enemy and the the enemy escapes with less than 5% of HP

Quoted:
What is that HP!???
- 2017
It really isn't worth it but there are some situations where you will need mana (just buy meditation cloak then.)

- cooldown reduction and more physical power than and you get 50% damage for 8 secs on your basic attack.
I think it suits Fenrir nicely. - Sen

-is actually good on him because he gets more Physical Power when over 50% HP and when he is under 50% HP he gets more Physical and Magical Protections.

- is also good on him because you can shred through enemy protections easier.

- don't even think about putting it on except if you are playing tank and even then it is not exactly desirable.

- less Physical Power and you need to be really close to enemy to make it work, don't put it on.

- isn't really meant for Fenrir better stick to Bloodforge.

- a lot of physical power, good amount of lifesteal, you gain a shield and movement speed after you kill an enemy.
[PERSONAL EXPIRIENCE - You heal somewhere between 300 and 400 HP with and active while around level 18 with a single basic attack.]

- alright on Fenrir and super nice against tanky targets.

-eh,not that bad and enemy gains damage over time when you hit them while Fenrir gets more penetration, attack speed and physical power.

- quite nice, you get physical power, mana, penetration and cooldown reduction.
Highly desirable in any build. -Sen

brawler's beatstick - you get nice amount of physical power and penetration off of it,the enemy gets reduced healing and regeneration.
Also highly desirable in any build. -Sen

- physical power and movement speed, lowers enemies physical protection by 10 and increases your physical protection by 10.
I mean you can put it on if you want to but I think that is a bit better. - Sen

- you get more HP,physical power, movement speed, you get a stacking buff that provides 7 Physical and Magical protection for every good in 55 units and it stacks to 5 times.
I think that is better than . -Sen

- you get physical power, penetration, movement speed and when you get a successful basic attack on a god it gives you one stack and then your next ability deals bonus damage equal to 80% of your physical power to the first enemy that you hit.
Quite good on Fenrir. -Sen

- physical power and movement speed.
I usually put this on Fenrir. -Sen

- twice less physical power than but you get mana, attack speed and movement speed on them.
I don't really think it is that good but I also don't think it's that bad. -Sen

[Defensive Items]

- nice amount of physical protection,mana,MP5 and cooldown reduction.
It's okay to put it on if you want. -Sen

- you get some magical protection,HP,crowd control reduction and you gain a shield when you fall under 30% of your HP.
Eh,not really the best but it will do. -Sen

- everything is the same as but it doesn't have the crowd control reduction or the shield but the enemy gods within 55 units have reduced healing by 25%.

- I mentioned it before, you can put it but even then it's debatable.
I wouldn't put it on. -Sen

- [u]your abilities cooldowns are reduced by 3 secs if you are hit by magical damage[/u].
It's okay if you are building a tank. -Sen

- It's okay to put on if you are building a tank or you just want to be more tanky but I think there are some better items that you can profit from.

- It's okay to put it on in any build and especially recommeneded if there are gods like , , , etc.

- you get a nice amount of physical and magical protection you even get cooldown reduction and when your HP falls under 30% all enemies next to you will get stunned.
It's fine to put it on. -Sen

- enemies get more damage over time, you can build this if you are going tank but not in any offensive builds.

- why would you even put this on? Maybe if you are building a tank but even then it's debatable.

- you get physical and magical protection, crowd control reduction and cooldown reduction.
It's okay to put it in any build but there are other items that would do better. -Sen

- you get HP,crowd control reduction and movement speed.
Only to be put in tank builds. -Sen

Skills

Welcome to the section where we talk about Fenrir's skills.
Fenrir requires skill ladies and gents.

-It is not easy to hit his or when there is a mayhem happening or even when it isn't.
-It is quite easy to miss the abilities especially your .
But how do you miss them exactly Sen?
-You only need a second to miss them, the enemy might blink, dash or jump away and sometimes you will get hit by enemy
abilities that will slow or stun you
and you will miss your abilities.
-Fenrir's isn't instant and it takes around a second and a half to land but by then the enemy might already be gone.

- You might put your marker on an enemy god to execute or then wait for the perfect moment to hit but sometimes you will absentmindedly go backwards a few steps and you won't hit it or get slowed down by the enemy.

- Fenrir's takes about 1 and half secs to execute which is a long time.
You will miss it most of the time when starting but over the time you'll get better but even later you will miss it because the enemies will act diffrently, they will be more skilled and react faster.

- - I don't think you can miss this even if you tried.

- - is also easy to miss because the enemy might be tightly grouped up or you will be slowed with a relic or basic attack.

- - don't use it when the enemy is beside or right in front becuse you will miss it,most of the time the enemy will turn around you and then jump away to safety.
I've seen it happen a lot of times.

Combos

There are a few of them that I picked up.

-Combo #1 - Have full runes ready, use then jump on the enemy with and you'll stun them (if they don't have Beads or Magi's Cloak)land a basic attack or two (if you can) then use (always press the button to basic attack at the end of it because you can instantly throw a basic attack after ends) and then use but be mindful of the range between you and the enemy or if the enemy has some sort of a dash, jump or blink.

-Combo #2 - , (press the button to basic attack while ending the ),use and (it's easy to miss).

-Combo #3 - ,use (release them sooner and press the button to basic attack while releasing them,it basically works the same as with ),use (press the button to basic attack before it ends), .

-Be ambitious and add your style to the combos.

Relics

I usually buy Aegis and Blink when I play Arena but I guess I would do the same in Conquest.
(The following sentences are gonna be me trying to be sarcastic.)
It really depends what kind of team they have.

- will do you good on .

- your choice really.

- Mythymoo would be proud.

bracer of undoing- trying to stay in a fight when taking a lot of damage? Okay.

- a helpful little fellow aren't ya'? Only buy when facing strong healers like , , .

- wanna get quickly into a team fight? Go right ahead.

- wanna make them into turtles? Nice.

- Aww trying to help your team that's cute.

meditation cloak - and they said there is no good in the world. You showed them wrong.

- i guess Odin will never put a ring on you.(Only if there is an .)

(Beads) - nothing can stop you now.

- come on hit me I ain't afraid.(not recommeneded.)

(Sunder) -Eh,whatever it isn't even good when they nerfed it.

Quoted:
"R.I.P Sunder" - 2017

-teleport glyph - hm.....well it's okay if you wanna backdoor.

Fenrir Rules/Tips

Well we need some Rules/Tips.

-Be mindful of your movement.

-Don't die chasing a kill that is level or even more lower than yours.

-Don't go charging angry into the enemy team because they provoked you.
Nothing good will come out of it.

-Be mindful of the range between you and the enemy.

-Be mindful of your mana.

-Always press the button to throw a basic attack when using and .

-Never go into a fight without runes.Always have at least 4 runes or full runes.

-Improvise

Team Work

I know how it can be when a teamate is salty because they died and then they blame you.
doesn't do well in a teamfight,he was designed for a single target only,it's hard to do something with him when there is the whole enemy team grouped up.
The only thing that can help isolate the target is .
Be very careful when going against the whole team because you can easily get killed.
Last but not least, you will need to improvise a lot of times.

Pros / Cons

[Pros]

-Single target burst.

-Isloating a target sometimes.[using of course.]

-High amount of damage early and late game.

[Cons]

-Mana [Early game can be a killer for him.]

-Teamfight [He just doesn't do well in it.]

Creeping / Jungling

I don't really play Conquest that much but here it goes.
Be mindful of your mana especially early game because it drains fast.
Focus on and in early game but mostly on .
Don't go chase an enemy that is a level or few lower than yours it just isn't worth it,you get some exp but the enemy that killed you gets even more exp.
My build hits towers and pheonixes quite hard, around 200 damage with one basic attack I think.
If the enemy jungler has crit you need to be careful because needs to be up close and personal to do damage.

Leveling Up Your Abilities

As I said I don't really play Conquest that much and when I do I have my settings put to auto upgrade abilities.
But for this situation let's say that I am manually upgrading the skills.

I would be upgrading (it has good early clear), (good for clearing,I didn't upgrade because it doesn't have good lifesteal early on and damage isn't too good on it), , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , .
You should early game focus on and because of good clearing but keep in mind that your can help a lot after level 8 or 9.

The End

I hope this helps you in anyway and remember while using and hold down the button to basic attack because it can be a matter of life and death.
Cya -Sen

Hello. In your "More Items That You Can Put On Him" Ninja Tabi is a bad choice.

You describe other pointless items on him.
Hastened Katana for example. You even say in the guide, "don't put it on."
Just remove items like these from the guide. It adds clutter.

Otherwise, main build is looking fine, but a bit too squishy.

I have some disagreements with your items and relic choices, but I'll only mention my preferences if you want to discuss them. Otherwise, builds are ok. It's always more helpful to list more options, but these look like good, all purpose builds.

It would be helpful to give a reasoning for your skill order. For non conquest game modes, I usually max brutalize first, then unchained, then seething howl, then Ragnarok. And like a lot of Fenrir players, I see you also have a hard time hitting that Unchained. If you have any tips on hitting it (I didn't see any in your guide), I'd love to exchange info with you, as I also have a hard time landing my unchained sometimes.

Ah Puch can be very frustrating to play against if he's a good player. However, I would personally focus an Ah Puch. He has no escape potential, and is a VERY easy target for my abilities. I disagree with some of your threat levels as well, but we can discuss it if you wish.

Like Tlaloc said, your guide would look much nicer with some BB coding.

Hey Sen,

Welcome to Smitefire. I noticed that your guide isn't exactly visually appealing, so I thought you might make use of this. A little bit of formatting can entice readers to keep reading.
