Introduction

Welcome to my Sobek build. Today I will show you an easy build and show you the strengths and weaknesses of the build and Sobek in general. The goal of this build is to be able to take massive damage and punish physical damage dealers for dealing that damage, while also being able to heal at a massive rate which will make it so you only truly need to recall when you have 30% or less health.

Items

The first item you will want to go with is mystical mail. Since almost every one of Sobeks moves require him to get close to the enemy this will add some extra damage, very powerful item early game. As a bonus it will actually cause your ultimate to do damages in the very beginning stages of the activation.

Second item is Hide of the lion, as I like to call it. It will give you an edge when fighting anyone who deals physical damage. It will definitely make a powerful physical damage dealer who is low on health run when they see you or die when they fight you.

Third item is Sovereignty this is where we will get into the hp5 aspect of the build. Not only does this give you a nice defense boost it will also give you a lot of hp5 and help your partners out as well.

Fourth item is Stone of Gaia, this will also give you a fair amount of hp5 and give you some health as a bonus. Goal of these item is to keep you in the lane as long as possible because your team needs you there dammit!

Fifth item will be Rod of Asclepius. This will give you some much needed attack power while also increasing all healing for you and your team by 25%. This item will not only help for your items but for your 3 as well which we will cover later.

Last item is Ethereal Staff. This is an amazing item because not only will it give you a bunch of health it will also convert your health into magical power.

Skills

First skill is his lunge move. It will cause you to run forward and if you make contact with an enemy then you will pull him backwards. Now keep in mind because you need to aim carefully. This move will mess you up so bad if you miss and this build has no cool downs so you will need to wait a decent amount of time before you can try again. That being said if you make contact and you have a fairly competent team this will be so powerful. Also beware that minions can and will get in your way if you don't aim carefully. Also use this move to run away when needed

Second skill is his spinning move. Now this is going to have to be a combo you remember. After you successfully hit an enemy with your lunge you need to run back to where you threw that poor soul, get in his way, and use this move. This move will disrupt his movement and if done that the right angle will stop him from moving back to his team for a few seconds. At this time I would hope your team would be bashing the **** out of him.

Let's say you just finished that spinning move and that that that poor soul is struggling to get away and has survived your team bashing on him. What then? That's where this move comes in, after your spinning move is done and the enemy is alive he will be behind you. You want to turn around quickly and throw them leaves at his ***, I know they are not leaves but they always looked like them to me. This move will hopefully finish him off, at the very least it will add some extra damage in there at the end. As a bonus it heals you a small portion of the damage you will take from this combo. Use this move also when you need health but save it for your combo if at all possible.

Last skill will be his ultimate. This is the one I see used the most incorrectly. Most sobeks will rush to the enemies and use it, hoping they do not have a way to get out of it. While somewhat effective this will not help your team at all. Instead you will jungle. You will go into the jungle sneak up behind them and use it. Now when you use it do not put it directly on top of them. You only want the very edge to be touching them, and move in the direction that thy move so that they are always touching the edge. This is where you team mates come in and must attack them. The enemies will have 2 choices, either walk closer to your allies and take more of a beating or try and use a rush move to get out. Most rush moves will not escape the range of your ult if they are trying to go back to their tower. Only flaw is that they do have an option to use that move to go into the jungle. If they do this it is very unlikely you will get them. Also never cancel the move early unless you know for a fact you will not get anything! It will do so much less damage that you might as well not even used it in the first place.

Pros / Cons

Pros: Very high physical defense
High sustain
Great at singling enemies out
Should almost always win a 1 on 1 fight
High health
Great crowd control

Cons: Low magical defense with build
high cool downs
Very punishable character
Will not deal damage fast

Team Work

Last but not least team work. You need to let your team know when you are about to do something. You will be initiating a lot of fights so your team needs to know so that you can take out the enemy you hit with your lunge or if you miss they need to be ready to help protect you as you run back to them. Let them know when you are sneaking up behind the enemy with ult so they can let the enemies come closer to the tower and be ready to push when you use it.

Conclusion

Hope you liked the build, of course this build will not work for everyone but I have found it to be a very successful build personally. If you have any feedback or any tweaks you would make to this let us know below.
