Like a lot of mages, Discordia is very fragile. Utilizing Erratic Behavior is imperative to survival. Be cautious of players who easily pick up this trick, however, as they will wait until you hop away before they pounce you (Bastet, Awilix, Odin, Kali, etc) or cast their large AoE (Ah Puch, Scylla). Erratic Behavior is great for diverting enemy ultimates when timed right like Loki, Artemis, Rama, Thor, and Thanatos.
My builds centralize around maximizing CDR and adding mobility to provide constant harass (brawling). I know they are seen as unconventional, but that's the point.
Regarding items selected, I would deem the following as a "core kit" for Discordia.
Disclaimer: This isn't the holy grail, just an idea.
After hours playing against an array of gods, I've developed some tricks I'd like to share with new up-and-coming Discordia players.
These tricks heavily depend on max CDR (or holding onto Erratic Behavior). Refer to Introduction > Combos for additional information regarding your abilities and how to best use them.
As a closing note, there's something I'd like to add for people to think about; when you maximize CDR on Discordia, everything in the world seems right. To get the most out of Discordia, you need CDR--yes, even her kit has it built in, but it is not enough--because as a brawler, and you are as Discordia, you need your Erratic Behavior up as often as possible. At maximum CDR it is on a nine second recast. Remember, the purpose of my builds is to provide constant harass.
