S4 Joust guide: Delete your opponents

My thought process here is that Iz can clear waves extremely easily, and makes incredible use of the yellow bow because all shots pierce, and all basic attacks hit twice. Since you're hitting so fast, lifesteal is more effective here than with many gods, and even though its a bit pricey for your second item, it's well worth it. Once you've got the first three items, you're farming simulator 2017 and should be getting money fast and fending off enemy gods like you're born to do it. Once you get the hastened fatalis, you're ready to chase enemies down. I typically play pretty safe until this point because having the ability to run circles around your enemy while shooting them helps to not get hit, and now having the ability to farm a little extra health while you run away is essential. After that, the shuriken gives you a little more attack speed, crits and damage, and deathbringer gives you a huge boost in damage and crits. If you can't delete people with this build you aren't cut out for this game lol.


So, lets say it's early game, you're really scared and keeping the enemies well fed. Well, there's a few ways you can try and come back. First, stay at the fountain, bake with Hel and press f6 until the 10:00 mark. If that doesn't sound fun, counter build a defense item after the second tier of bloodforge. My favorites are bulwark and valor, but pick whatever you like. Defend and farm until that is done, finish bloodforge, and continue the build as normal until you need room for deathbringer. By then you should be in pretty good shape. And don't forget your teleport goes through walls. It can really give you a lead if you're bein chased down.
