Pretty solid guide that covers some good general information. I liked the Scorpion reference in the Cons section, lol.
I noticed a few things that I figured I would provide some feedback on as well.
Under the Abilities section, you describe Nature's Protection like so:
This isn't entirely correct. If you read the ability description, his passive only applies to gods with melee basic attacks, meaning most ADCs will be unaffected by it. This is similar to how Hastened Katana can only be picked up by physical melee basic attackers and not Hunters.
Also, your wording in the second paragraph of your first combo under "Ability Combos" is mixed up. In the first paragraph, you describe your first combo as being harder to execute, due to the fact that you pull and then root. But in the next paragraph you say the first combo uses the root and then pull. I was confused for a second when reading it so just thought I would point it out.
Other than that, you bring up some good points and tips. Since this guide is labeled as a W.I.P., I think it could be worth talking a bit more about how Sylvanus fits in to different team compositions and his counter potential, since this guide seems to be Conquest based. Although he has some AoE abilities, I view him as more of a single-target support, as he has the ability to pick out and lock down a single target for his teammates to focus. In a team fight scenario when his ultimate is down, he may not be as effective as other Guardians.
...That and he is OP with the Bob Ross skin... xD
i don't regret spending my savings on that skin
Really good guide, build seems solid overall, and the body is written and presented nicely.
Regarding items, would you consider Void Stone to be a viable item on Sylvanus? This is an item I tend to buy a lot when playing Sylvanus, since his abilities are designed to be used close to your enemies or bring your enemies closer to you. I would at least consider this an option if you have a magical ADC, e.g. Freya, as they'll benefit from it a lot, at least early. Thoughts?
You don't have many replacements, which is concerning in a support build. Considering the guide is WIP I won't drag you through the mud too much over this, but some things to consider would be Winged Blade ( Sylvanus already is fairly slow, and if the enemy has additional slows, you'll have a relatively hard time.), Sovereignty or Heartward Amulet - Sov is considered fairly weak right now but if your ADC is witnessing lots of pressure from Physical enemies you may want to get it regardless -, Shield of Regrowth a nifty pick but if the enemy isn't an immediate threat to you personally then this item might help with Sylvanus being so slow. Your thoughts?
Aside from that, pretty solid stuff.
I rarely have a magical ADC, so I've never actually thought of that. It most likely would work well with winged blade to be sticky.
I rarely use sov or heartward anymore after it's nerf. I usually prefer gauntlet of thebes. It is decent if no one on your team has any self sustain. The phys protections are only 5 more than gauntlet of thebes.
As for shield of regrowth, it's not bad and I'm usually faster than my jungler when i activate it lol. Decent item although IMO winged blade as you suggested or relic dagger-thing would be better IMO
