So you've decided to build a nuke? well it's no rocket science, thats for sure. Imagine your favorite mage (Albert Einstein in our case) Now model the Manhattan project. In our build, Ymir will no doubt be nuclear winter we all need and deserve to lead our great country to victory.

The Crisp Of Winter

Ymir is no doubt, not actually a mage. But if built correctly, has the devastating power to be compared to even the best with em'. Ymir's kit is solely based around his freeze which, by itself doesn't do much damage, but certainly primes the fat and little boys up for a nuclear catastrophe. Blink is an excellent choice as it, not only sets Ymir up for a kill, but if need be, his teammates can come in and sweep of the remains promptly.

The order of attack should go.
(Optional Wall)
Blink in,
freeze,
Spikes > (Optional Ult if enemy has no escape or aegis/beads)
Auto attack,
RunLikeHellAway.

To maximize damage, build shoes of the magi as your first item, shortly followed by Obsidian Shard, (Do you find it Ironic that Ymir has an obsidian shard skin?)

WHEN YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR ULT. DO IT
The skills should focus your 2 (Glacial spikes) for maximum damage output
then your 3 (freeze) to keep them halted for longer.
Lastly you don't upgrade your wall unless absolutely necessary, if you're a good dodger/supporter, you should not need the wall for escapes or team fights.

Ymir's passive gives him 150% of base physical attacks to those whom were hit by one of his abilities in the last couple seconds. which can be deadly if you build him with Polynomicon.
