Hey everyone, I go by Thundermeew on Smite, so yeah. This is the first build I have ever done so I don't really know how to go about it. I personally wanted to make this so that I could show people my own personal Tyr build and how i go about using it. With that said, I hope some of you actually enjoy this build, let's get on with it.
Okay so, as you can see based on the items, I try to find a pretty balanced, yet effective (IMO) way to build him up. Let's look deeper into the items.
First off, we have Warrior Tabi, which, in regards to boots, should be an essential for any god (I do not know how to put pictures of items yet.) Now, the reason why i choose Warrior over Ninja, Guard, or Midas is mainly due to the penetration bonus, we really won't be needing the cool down of Ninja or extra protections from Guard.
Second is, Jotunn's Wraith. One of my personal favorite items in game due to the high CDR it gives you plus a bit extra penetration and Mana, the attack damage it gives you is a big plus as well.
Third, Hyrda's Lament. The more pricier item in the build, but well worth it. The extra CDR will leave you at max plus, 50 attack damage is pretty high, not to mention it's ability. After an ability (mainly after power cleave) this item lets you do, I believe 60% more damage with you next basic attack, but timing is everything.
Fourth, Void Shield, but it's Void Blade here. You can already assume why. The extra physical protection/ att dmg, plus MORE penetration with its Aura/ Passive.
Fifth, another one of my favorites Runeforged Hammer. Extra health, more physical protection, PLUS, 15% of your phys protection is converted into att dmg. So you are gonna be formidable against physical attackers.
Last Runic Shield, mainly if you are about to go into a team fight against enemy mages, plus 20 more att damage is good haha. Its ability is nice as well, 30 more magical protection when hit by a Magical Ability.
As for Actives, I would choose between Blink or Sprint, and choose between Enfeebling Curse or FotG. Blink or sprint if you NEED to help in a fight or get away from said fight. EC or FotG for some advantage IN fights, everyone know EC slows enemy players both in att speed and running. FotG for it's 1 sec stun to deal some damage to try and gain the upper hand.
Tyr's skills a very easy to learn how to use and timing is very crucial with them I believe. So let's jump to his passive.
Unyielding
His passive does NOT let Stuns, Taunts, Fears, and Mesmerize effect Tyr for no more than 1 sec, pretty nifty if you ask me. Read up on gods who utilize any of these, remember, knowing your enemy wins battles.
Fearless
Tyr charges forward, damaging enemies.
In his Assault Stance, Tyr pushes enemies along with him, hitting them 2 times, and knocking them up on the last hit. Very handy to push back enemy gods, or to clear minions faster.
In his Guard Stance, Tyr hits enemies only ONCE, passing through them all and knocking them away. Extremely good for a means of escape.
Power Cleave
Tyr makes a massive melee attack, hitting all enemies within a 180 degree cone.
Now, before I continue. Tyr's main combo wraps around Fearless and Power Cleave ie. Fearless to Power Cleave.
In his Assault Stance, Enemies that are knocked up in the air are knocked away.
In his Guard Stance, this heals Tyr for each enemy hit the max being 3 enemies you are healed for.
Change Stance
Tyr changes stances between Assault and Guard Stances. Changing between each stance refreshes the cooldowns on Fearless and power Cleave. In Assault Stance, you gain up to 50 more Physical power at max level. (10/20/ and so on). In his Guard Stance, you gain 40 protections at max level. (8/16 and so on.)
Lawbringer (AKA Crazy Awesome Ult)
Tyr leaps through the air, bringing indiscriminate justice upon all enemies in the target area, doing 150/225/300/375 and 450 at max level plus 120% of your physical power, and slowing them by 25% for 3 seconds.
****, it feels like I have been writing for hours haha. But I hope to explain my play style, and hope you guys give this a shot.
So in early game, be it any mode conquest, arena, the new siege mode, I play passively. What I mean by this is, since this Tyr build doesn't have high att speed or protections, you are just as prone as any of your teams mates, keep that in mind, don't just go rushing in trying to initiate a fight early on trust me, unless you yourself are confident, the more power to you. As with that, I mainly tend to farm minions you know, keep a good gold income. If enemy gods start trying to pick at you, pick back but, don't go out on a full fight. If I see a god is starting to annoy me, I Fearless all his minion back and Power cleave them this takes a good chunk of the minions health and, also making him move back as well since if he tries to attack you, your minions are still in their aiming sights. So, I try to keep this constant flow, not to aggressive right?
Mid-Game
Okay so, bringing in some items into play, With Jotunn's Wraith built by this time, you should be able to switch between stance more often and to dole out some damage to a god if they get in your way as well since you have 26 penetration. If you see more than one god be sure to stay in Guard Stance to keep your health up and take more hits than normal. Since the way I put up his skills you should have a pretty good amount of protections and attack in either stance, while still having Fearless and Power Cleave. Once you get Hydra's Lament, your CDR is maxed out and changing between is a breeze meaning more ways to protect yourself.
About the time you get Runeforged or Void Shield is where you'll be having more fun IMO. Team fights, are where you will shine. YOUR ROLE is to initiate, Once your team sees you dive in with Lawbringer expect some fun. Main combo, Lawbringer, scoop up enemy gods with Fearless, then Power Cleave, this will do a fair amount of damage and, bring enemies closer to your allies to wipe out.
Late Game
This is where you can be as aggressive as you want. Physical enemies, especially singled out ones will be no problem. Are they trying to run away? Use Fearless to catch up or Sprint/Blink. By now, your protections will be at a good 100+ giving you decent defense. Since you have pretty high (I think like 160-190 physical prot) you'll have a high damage output. Your not fast at attacking but, all your penetration and damage (I think at a good 240?) you can take out squishies pretty fast, including Mages.
Now, you are probably thinking what a weird change of pace. Playing passively and then jumping on Aggro Express? Well, the reason is because your mid/ late game is pretty impressive. The way I use this Tyr build is mainly as an Initiator or for Solo, and some-what Support. I tend to give my teammates the kills the ADC's and the APC's. Yeah I'll get a kill here and there but, remember, working as a team is VERY important, no need to get kill hungry.
Now, I am fully aware this build does have it's ups and downs. It might not be liked by some, but then there will be those who enjoy this build.
Pros
Well, I really do appreciate you guys taking the time to take a look at this build, which I use EVERY TIME i play Tyr. Remember, practice makes perfect, and give this build a shot. I believe since he is categorized as a warrior, he should have a good balance between damage and defense. With this build, you aren't the MVP or Carrier of your team, which isn't bad, but you sure will get alot of recognition for the assists and score some kills for yourself too. From past battles I have had, I three shotted a Ullr with this, took out some junglers with this (ESPECIALLY the annoying Loki IMO). Oh yeah keep in mind, Not many Carriers increase their defenses so you will be a nightmare for them. :D If you come across another solo laner be assertive, don't let your guard down, I have seen some warriors build like if they are assassins, I'll take them out, and in the after lobby they try to talk smack saying how did i beat them, rather hilarious. xD
So I hope you guys enjoy this build, if you can leave me some feed back, I might make more builds depending if this one get a good review. Until next time thank a lot guys.

As for items explained, it is fine but this guide has a lot of wall of texts, which make it look unappealing :/.
I would appreciate if you didn't just list Tyr's skills and write down their description. If you just put the icon for Change Stance, you can see the same thing. It would be much more beneficial to your guide if you included how to use the skill, when and where, and skill combos. And skill combos w/ Tyr are pretty important lol... Ex.
Tyr's early game isn't as weak as you say in your pros and cons. You do give a decent playstyle chapter but it still looks bland.
PM me if you change things around. \/
First your item build seems very weak, I'm sure it works for you and I won't argue that with you. Hydra's Lament doesn't make your basic attack hit 50% harder, it adds 50% of your Physical power to your basic attack. I will admit that this is a very good item but the reason why Tyr's Abilities are so strong isn't because of Power stacking, it's because of their high base damage. I'm not saying you shouldn't use it, but it's not an advisable item when your Physical Power is below 200.
I do like how in the actives you listed for choice that you explained as to why you would grab any of them, personally I feel you should switch to Wrath of the Gods since you're not trying to play as an aggressive Tyr. The reasoning behind this is because, while in the early game whoever you are laning with with probably be getting all the minion kills you need to be able to wave clear while they are gone and this helps you out immensely. The second reason is so you can make sure that you secure important objectives like Fire Giant and Gold Fury.
As far as your skills go, I understand your reason as to why you would level Change Stance first, but I really feel like it makes you vulnerable. I would consider doing either fearless or Power Cleave as your first skill to max so you have some leverage against people who try to harass. Personally I like Fearless because the ability has so many uses from initiate to escape and even dish out stupid amounts of damage at an early level.
Now lastly and the Main reason for the downvote. Your guide is just a wall of text, this is not appealing at all. It's boring and people are going to lose interest real quick, these guys want to look at a guide with great references and pictures for the TL:DR version. You need your BBC coding. I'm sure you understand this website and probably have lurked on it for quite some time before posting this guide. Whenever you go to the top of the site and hover over God Guides it shows you the BBC coding guide right there. Read it....at the very least copy templates out of there until you learn how to utilize the system better on your own.
