Nox is a supportive character that focuses on indirectly damaging enemies with skills that restrict opponent movement, abilities, and by dealing damage over time. To use Nox as an agro character, you need to focus on the damage over time effects and the mobility advantage she has. For this you need to focus on the use of Shadow Lock, and Shadow Step.
Shadow lock is typically used to assist other gods by holding enemies in place, but it still has the potential to deal heavy damage. Shadow lock deals damage over time and at max level can deal extreme damage. To reap the benefits of this damage items such as Soul Reaver, Void Stone, and the Spear of Magnus are essential. These items allow you to use this skill to hold enemies and render them helpless as you deal heavy damage to them. Be warned, Shadow lock can be broken by "leaping" skills.
Shadow step is a skill used more often as an escape technique, by dashing into an ally you can quickly evade potentially dangerous situations. This skill, like the Shadow Lock, also has potential to deal heavy damage, but this time it is in a much more direct fashion. This skill has the ability to deal damage multiple times, by passing through an enemy as you aim for an ally you have the option to deal double damage to them. Be warned, this technique requires precision and is best used with a partner.
Another useful technique is to use this as an ambush. By jumping into an ally that is assaulting the enemy, you gain an opportunity to surprise the enemy with a quick and precise attack.
Siphon Darkness is a skill used to silence enemies and deal heavy damage to those that do not escape its area. By using this skill in combination with shadow lock, you can easily kill most enemies before they have a chance to counter strike by trapping them inside its radius. Siphon darkness deals heavy damage regardless of its levels, so focusing on the shadow lock may be a better idea.
Lastly, is Nox's ultimate: Night Terror. This skill tosses a large fast moving orb in whatever direction Nox is facing. This skill deals medium damage upon hit and then deals heavy damage over time. The biggest advantage to this skill is that it's range is huge, it can easily chase down and finish off a fleeing enemy. It also passes through minions and deals heavy damage to them, allowing you to clear hordes of them with little effort. However, it is stopped by walls, and if another enemy is in the way of your it will stop at them. This means the skill requires precision, and can be difficult to use. To best use it, focus on hitting enemies that are fleeing and are not being assisted by a fellow god. You can also use this as a decisive opening strike; by throwing the ball into a large group of enemy gods you can turn the tables for your team, giving them a healthy advantage in hp.
To make this build work, only two items are truly necessary: Shoes of Magi, and the Book of Thoth. The shoes give you a small boost in mobility and damage and mana, which allows for better maneuverability and sustainability in the battle which will often be key points in a heated conflict. The Book of Thoth is what really gives nox her strength though, by focusing on her mana, nox is able to outlast many opponents and can easily hold her own in the heat the battle. The book gives nox the mana boost she needs and in turn the damage boost that will support her through the game.
Besides these two items, the rest are more optional. However, I suggest using items that add effects or deal extra damage when nox uses her damaging abilties. Items such as Soul Reaver and Gem of Isolation are useful for keeping the pace of battle in Nox's favor. However, any item that has a similar effect would do the job.
