Introduction

Medusa is a very OP hunter and sorta easy to use basic aiming you should be fine

Pros / Cons

pros is protection shred
Con is you have to know how to play medusa efficiently and if you don't you will never be able to use this build correctly

Team Work

conquest you can easily beat a mage mid lane if you choose to and using the ultimate to secure 1-2 kills in a team fight is good for your team

This site is all about critiques my friend. Anyways, I'd like to welcome you to SMITEfire, glad to have you here!

Just two small things I'd like to point point. First, you wouldn't want Wind Demon and Titan's Bane to be your "interchangeable" items...it would be more beneficial to pick either The Executioner or Titan's Bane. The items don't work well with each other. Second, I'd recommend switching up the order of your build a little bit. Maybe try something like this...

Warrior Tabi
Transcendence
Wind Demon
Hastened Fatalis
Deathbringer
The Executioner

@Murmz: His general build order is okay in the beginning, but there are some issues.
  • Fatalis can work in the 3rd spot, because Medusa gets plenty of power from Tabi and Trans, so the lack of power in this item isn't a huge detriment to her power curve. This adds a small bit of pen, and immediately makes her able to box, and the mobility is nice for chase/escape/rotation.

  • The Executioner can be built either after Hastened Fatalis in the 4th spot, or as a last item in the 6th spot...probably depends on how tanky the enemy team is, and how they are building.

  • If he chooses Wind Demon and Deathbringer, it should be in the reverse order. DB is almost never the optimal 1st item, due to cost and actual power curve. His order of these two should probably be switched.

  • As stated, Exe and Titan's Bane are used for the same general purpose (breaking through enemy protections), but due to game mechanics, somewhat counteract each other if built together. Choose one or the other. TB for harder-hitting abilities and objective damage, Exe for basic attack DPS.

  • This build is missing sustain...in combination with Transcendence, Asi is usually the preferred item. In some situations, no sustain can be okay, but I know I absolutely need it in my builds.

  • If you're building Trans AND Crit, you'll likely want to switch out Trans late. You'd have lifesteal somewhere in there, and as the 7th item, you'd replace Trans with DB.
Overall, the core is solid. It's not exactly meta...Trans + Crit is not the most common...it would usually be Trans + TB + Qin's. But it can work.

Welcome to the site, Tyreek. But like Papa says, you absolutely have to expect critique. Hopefully it's constructive.

If you're going to go Titan's Bane you don't want to go The Executioner. I'm not really sure how they cancel each other out but if you get all 3 of The Executioner's stacks it makes Titan's Bane redundant. Maybe someone else could explain it better than me.

Bran is really good at explaining this stuff. I think there is a comment about it on my Nemesis Guide. I can go look back and see if I can find it and paste it here!

Regarding the Titan's Bane dilemma, there's another interesting issue that comes to my mind in a "bigger picture" than the potential item's inefficiency. It all lies within this protection reduction hierarchy.

Spoiler: Click to view

So basically, assuming you would be able to stack The Executioner's passive (which would be easier thanks to its added attack speed value, it is a better choice over Titan's Bane as it also prepares the protection amount better for the flat reduction items to be more efficient.

With that in mind it's safe to say that changing Titan's Bane with The Executioner would provide more penetration overall and give some free attack speed.

Daelinn is talking about this in perspective of Nemesis, but I think it has some value here.
