Hello everyone, i'm a Gold IV solo lane player who mains Ōhirume-no-muchi-no-kami or more commonly referred to as Amaterasu and this is my guide on how to play her.
Pros
High Single target and AOE damage
High Sustain
Good Mobility
Good Clear
%Damage Reduction
Cons
average Early Game
Cleanse hurts her badly
Can require stance management
This is a very offensive passive. After three successful basic attacks on a single enemy god, that target gets a debuff that makes it easy for you and your allies to do more damage to that target and enemies within the passives radius near them for a duration as long as you keep hitting
This is Amaterasu's aura/stance and heal ability. Every time this ability is activated you get Healing over Time, plus either a passive speed or power boost. In Benevolence Stance you gain additional movement speed, while in Valor stance you get additional Physical Power. Since this ability is an Aura as well, your teammates get these benefits as well if they are close to her. this skill is bonkers late game.
Your shield and clearing ability. When you active this ability, you gain a shield that mitigates any damage you take for the duration and when the duration is up it fires a projectile. This ability may also be charged up by giving or receiving damage once fully charged it will deal double base damage(So the scaling is their but the base damage is doubled then scaling is applied). you may also fire heavenly reflection early by re activating the skill.
Your dash and silence. Amaterasu slashes with her blade sending out a silence, then dashing very soon after dealing damage to all enemies hit, but stopping at the first enemy god hit
Amaterasu jumps and slashes three times dealing damage to whoever is in the cone of the attack. On the first strike it deals damage, on the second the damage is amplified by 20% and apply a slow for two seconds, and on the third strike the damage is amplified by 40% and the enemy is stunned for two seconds. Note: the combo will break if you miss a strike.
Every basic attack gives you health and mana so sustain for the lane is great for a solo laner or Auto Attack god like Amaterasu.
name says it all, its meant for warriors and Amaterasu wants the stats it gives.
CDR, mana, and a lot of physical protection. This is will always be your second item because it is everything you need and want besides power.
This is literally Breastplate, but swap protections for power.
Protection against magical gods, this will be your go to item. Once you drop below 30%hp you'll gain a shield which will protect you for a short while.
this item is just beautiful with Amaterasu, attack speed, power and a passive that shreds % amounts of hp.
this item is good, for dealing with melee assassins or stunning enemy squishes if you're close to them and provides a massive amount of protections.
if you're against a CC heavy time this item will literally be a life saver, and provides a nice little bit of protections.
Who likes healers healing? not me if its the enemies healers. Provides nice protections against mages.
Health, physical protections and a AOE magical damage aura.
this item is a nice high protections item that requires stacking to be at its best.
Against a AA heavy team? this item will make them hurt themselves for attacking you.
if you're in long slow fights this item will help you stay topped up.
Shreds armour, gives attack speed and power, whats not to like?
this item is good if you're versing highly tanky teams allowing you to ignore 33% of their armour.
If the enemy is too slippery and you need them to slow down this item will do you wonder but it also gives you a bit of health and power.
CC reduction, movement speed, attack speed and health. this item it well rounded in a lot of things you want and if you're up against teams with a lot of slows this item will be very helpful because of its passive to become immune to slows.
reduces enemies armour near you, increases yours and gives you power a lot of what you may want and or need.
magic protections, CDR, power and a passive to silence mages when hit with magic damage.
trading and laning
Unless fighting you should always be in your Speed stance when you go to engage be sure to swap to damage when your engaging and to swap out after your finished trading.
Laning early on may be hard versing people ravana because your 2 wont clear wave until level 7 which means against people with good early clear you'll be getting pushed under tower the easiest way to counter this is to use your dash through the wave to damage it so you can try to last hit the wave. But be careful when doing this because it will leave you in a bad position.
C-C-Combos
3, 1, 2, 4
this combo dashes you in starts your heal and shield up then lets you ult. this is how you would engage for a team fight or if you don't use you ult how you'd catch up to fleeing enemies.
1, 2 ,4
this combo in lane will usually half health someone so it can be put to good use if you're trying to get them out of lane early or are trying to set up for your jungler to gank, it also leaves your 3 open to chase or flee.
1, 2
this is just a sweet and simple shield to someones face enhanced by your damage auras damage buff.
Thank you for reading my guide to Amaterasu, i main her and am always open to hearing peoples opinions on what i like to do. This build leaves you tanky but still able to dish out quite a lot of pain.
