Hi inb4,

Agreed, Green's guide is awesome. I can also see how it is fun to play him in the Jungle, and although playing him in that role will often bring some toxicity your way, his main skill-set really is more of a jungler than others. The big problems are his weak early game / camp clear, and item dependence...quick camp clear is often preferred.

Items Chapter

Okay, skill leveling...I don't like the last level on Decoy before the 3rd level of Assassinate. At the point you get the 5th level of Decoy, your clear should be okay, and since you're already dedicating yourself to ganks, why wouldn't you do your ult first?

I like your suggestions for early, as long as you can get away with it. It's a bit chancy going deep into enemy territory with no Vanish, but as long as you don't get caught, it can definitely help. Also, you mention starting with Solo, but don't you ever start with Mid? Not sure what the meta looks like on XBox, but it's pretty variable on PC.

TL;DR I like your writeup, whether or not I agree with everything you said. You definitely put thought into it. I see some early mana and clear issues in Jungle (hence the Solo start so you can farm up and get the mana buff), and don't particularly like all of your item suggestions (especially Soul Eater). Would love to hear your thoughts. Hope you got something out of mine.

I have only used Soul Eater on a few occasions to see if it would proc from Loki's skills (as you noted it only works on Vanish, which I did mention), but as there are only a few lifesteal items, I thought I would include it as an alternate.

I've never played Smite on PC, but from what you're saying it seems the metas are somewhat different and player skill/reaction time is definitely worse. This guide is definitely my personal style and I know it won't work for everyone. I hardly ever have issues with CC unless I'm way out of position or attempting a split-push without wards so don't prefer getting Purification Beads.

I'm headed to work so I'll reply on more of what you said later. I do appreciate the feedback though.

The biggest difference in console and PC play, other than the amount of newer players to regulars, is control. I've played on both PC and PS4. I'm awful at PS4 controls and aiming. That said, it's that aiming thing...you might be able to dance around an Ymir freeze or Sobek toss on console a bit more easily. With a mouse, it becomes more difficult to avoid stuff, and there's just so much CC in the game.

This is why Purification Beads are so strongly suggested overall...the PC crowd swears by it (and I'd also say a lot of console players too).

I'm not a Loki player nor am I a jungler, but the build makes sense to me.
You got the Hydra's Lament 2nd for CDR and mana.
You got the Heartseeker/ Masamune third for movement speed.
You got the Jotunn's Wrath 4th for more CDR.
Bloodforge because you are loki and you'll be easily 100 to 0ing squishys, so the passive will be useful to you.
Titan's Bane last for ability based pen.
Build makes sense to me.

I'm just not too sure about the Rangda's Mask though.

As for BB coding, you should read this guide:
https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/spruce-up-your-words-a-guide-to-bb-coding-15438
and make the presentation of your guide better.
The guide is very easy to follow, and it shouldn't take you too long to pick up on BB coding.

As I said, it's a bit of an odd start compared to the other guides on this site. For 500 gold though, the decreased effectiveness I feel from levels 1-6 is more than made up for by the extra MP5, CDR, movespeed, and ultimately pen (before Titan's) throughout the game. No other item offers such a nice diversity of stats. Especially considering each of them is useful. Movespeed, pen, and MP5 speak for themselves, but the extra 10% CDR puts you at 40% once Jotunn's in built. I have kept Rangda's in my final build over Titan's because it offers such a useful range of things, it was against a squishy team, but still.
