Build Item Heavenly Wings Heavenly Wings

Why use this build?

This build gives you that little extra by combining everything that makes Loki dangerous with a very cheap item making him even more dangerous.

Witchblade gives you 200 Health, 10% Cooldown Reduction,20% Attack Speed,10% movement speed and it's passive reduces the attack speed of all enemies within 55 units by 20%. This allows you to finish your build mid- to late game and to either upgrade relics or buy some potions, wards, etc. You're as deadly as ever, but more persistent. Everyone who hated you as much as that mosquito that won't go away will now hate you more xD

Enjoy :)

Get rid of that Witchblade. None of that in a Loki build thank you.

You don't need to use it, but it makes a game-deciding difference for me.

I can see the appeal of using Witchblade in your build. The health, MS and CDR are likely the most appreciated, but the situational counter to basic attackers can be nice.

If you're not also getting Transcendence, then looking for that last bit of CDR to get it to max is nice.

You're probably not going to get too many basic attacks in at a time (other than mixing between ability use). So I personally would find the AS less useful.

I can also see the benefit of using Bloodforge for the health shield and high power, but being that the lifesteal you get from it is only from basic attacks (and not the boosted damage from Aimed Strike means it's also somewhat situational. I'm okay with that item though, since you can almost always get a good proc on BF's passive.

I have been shying away from Titan's Bane, though, since the recent patch nerfed it to all hell. Besides Jotunn's Wrath, I always want at LEAST one other item with some pen. The Crusher and/or Brawler's Beat Stick are my typical go-tos. Heartseeker also does the trick to some extent. The only thing I don't like about HS is that I'm likely to only get one proc of the passive in an encounter, and I have to have the stacks built or near built if I want to get its bonus effect. I guess I see how the added AS from Witch can help you build HS stacks more quickly too...but I usually leave counter-building via things like Witchblade to the tanks, who are more likely to pick it up. If they pick it up, I'm definitely NOT picking it up.

The reason I would always chose those items over Witchblade is because Loki's abilities scale better across the board than almost any other god. The bonus damage you get from more power is essential to his burst.

As a situational item, sure, okay...but as a core item, I just think it's less optimal. Everyone's got their own playstyle though. My other pref to round out CDR is just to get Transcendence. Yes, it delays the rest of the build, but boy are the stats worth it.

I think you would find a Titan's Bane or a Brawler's Beat Stick or a Transcendence to be more potent.
