How to choose item

Starting item
Why Death's toll? Give you good healt and mana regen you just need to spam auto attacks (asd).
Truly it gives you all you need.
AD + attack speed + healt + healt regen + mana regen = DEATH'S TOLL IS THE WAY!
It's useless start with $lifesteel item, you don't have enough AD to guarantee good care.
Why Tabi? Don't forget that Warrior Tabi is your second item. Tabi gives you a little AD + attack speed + movement speed. Good if you wanna help your team ganking the near lane.
Why two Healing Potions? Good counter for enemy harass.
Why Aegis Amulet? Makes you invulnerable then give you reduce damage buff, very strong item.

First back
Is not very easy depends on enemy in your lane and enemy team.
Keep in mind:
Easy game: you are feeded, you will never die and your team win all the lane, Heartseeker is waiting for you.
Heartseeker give you tons of AD (+75 with full stacks) and a little utility (+8% movement speed), allow you to snowball with your basic attack.
Strongly discouraged if you are losing the lane, you can't farm the stacks and this will be useless.
Normal game: no one is feeded (atm...you will be soon!), all are just farming.
Back when possible and buy Devourer's Gloves, allow you to farm much better.
When enemy minions are in front of you use So Beautiful (1) to one shot all of them, you just need some basic attacks for the bigger minion.
This item is recommend in most games, give you +30 AD and +10% lifesteel (which will become +60 AD and +25% lifesteel at full stacks); you cannot lose stacks 'cause it's PERMANENT.
Take also Sprint usefull during a chasing or for disengage.
Mid game
Warrior Tabi is a must on all hunter, AD + 15 physical penetration + some attack speed + mobility.
The Executioner is a good third item, gives you good AD, lot of attack speed and the most important reduce enemies physical protection on hit, perfect combination with your shoes.
Rage or Malice?
Honestly i think Rage is better 'cause gives you more passively attack speed.
These are the differences.
Rage: +20 AD, +30% Critical strike chance, 15% attack speed.
Passive: if your basic attack does not crit, your critical strike chance increases by
10% (Max 5 stacks), resets on successful crit.
Malice: +25 AD, 40% Critical strike chance, +9% attack speed.
Passive: no passive.
Considering that you don't have only this item for the critical strike chance, the difference of 10% is wasted, and 5 AD is pretty useless.
It's better to have almost twice the attack speed.
Btw is my opinion, ofc can be wrong.
End game
You sure need Deathbringer, more AD, more critical strike chance and your critical strike damage is increased by 50%.
Qin's Blades or Qin's Sais?
Against a tanky team buy the Qin's Blades, you will do 4% of target max health.
Else take the Qin's Sais, more damage on enemies that already miss a bit of health; if you attack someone with not many defenses which has less than half life you will one shot him.

Skill order

Apollo is a very easy god.
â So Beautiful (1): it's your main ability, use it for farm, pock (if the enemy stay behind the minions), when someone is chasing you, and especially during a teamfight (try to hit most people as possible).
â Serenade (2): mesmerize enemies around you, so use it to engage or in a chasing.
â The Moves (3): perfect skill to engage. You go on your enemy dealing damage, knock aside, movement speed is decreased for enemies and increased for yourself and allies.
It has area damage and effect, more enemies take = more slow for enemies and more speed for you and your allies.
â Across The Sky (4): Very usefull for enemies which have strong disengage or if you are pushing alone and enemy is behind you, just say "CYA NERDS!" and go back across the sky.
â Passive: Strong in early game, always try to wait for it to engage.
Well, skill order is...normally try to engage without The Moves, just Serenade and So Beautiful, keep it if they disengage.
You are chasing best combo is "3+2+1" and then some basic attacks, try to keep enemy in range and wait for "3" again.

Early game

Just stay in lane the most possible.
As you can easy understand, back if you're going to die: better lose some farm that give a free kill.
Try to back when you have enough money to end item that you're building.
Ofc keep pocked the enemy, but be careful of minions.
Never dive until lvl 10, and also then never alone.

Mid game

If you are winning your lane you must gank other lanes.
You can feed yourself more than you already are and easy win the game.
Remember to push hard your lane before gank, and back to push again asap.
Never roam in the jungle, don't take risk to give free kill.
If you are losing hard and you must leave your lane, go in the nearby lane and push most possible with your team.

End game

Just stay with the team, always behind the tank. Help you with wards to find one/two enemmies out of position and kill them. Then push and gg you win the game. :)

meditation is a terrible item, especially for Apollo. He is not mana hungry at all and you can always get the blue buff. The rest of the build is ok. Might wanna add some situational items.

The guide itself just doesn't give much info. And it lacks BB coding (which isn't mandatory but it just makes it so easier to understand and look at a guide). Also, the skills could be explained better than "mesmerize enemies around you, use to engage and escaping", like when is the best time to use it? for example against a Guan Yu? or the need to mesmerize them to let your team join the fight etc.

The guide is very cheap on info and you could improve your item build and explanations. The gameplay section is all but existent and the game phases are also quite short...

A downvote from me. I'll leave some links for guides to help you improve:
