Full build

Notes The build is very heavily attack speed based with some life steal for sustain! Devos gloves gives you increased power and lifesteal, building this early gives you a tad more sustain! Ninja's Tabi was chosen for this build mainly for the attack speed bonus but is also helpful for your mana sustain as well, however this can easily be traded out for other boots if that is your liking. Odysseus Bow adds attack speed and the added damage from the chain lightnings! Executioner shreds phys. prots. and Qin's gives extra damage. Finally, Asi caps your attack speeds and gives a touch more lifesteal!

Build Item Aegis Amulet Aegis Amulet
Build Item Purification Beads Purification Beads

Assault Relics

Notes Because you cannot back in Assault type game modes you will most likely want to use these relics for sustain! Pick up meditation first, not only for yourself but also for your team so everyone get health and mana back and increasing your survivability and sustain! At level 12 get shell to give yourself and teammates a buffer that reduces damage and adds temporary health!

Machine Gun Build Notes

This build is what I call The Machine Gun build! Its very attack speed based with quite a bit of life steal to play off of Cernunnos' spring time passive/ability 1. It is a very mid to late game build but if you play defensive for the early game and just hang on it really kicks into gear! You are more than welcome to adjust the build to fit your own needs. This is only what I use for Cernnunnos and what I've had a lot of fun and success with in most situations in Casual Conq., but can easily be used in other game modes! That being said, only use the shell and meditation for Assault game modes! Good luck and have fun!

Stop buying Chalices on every god dammnit. Hunter's Blessing, Spiked Gauntlet and health and mana/multi pots is all you need for the build you went.

Hi Ira,

This is another of those situations where...I don't know if this is for Conquest or not, but you seem to be allergic to using starter blessings. Hunter's Blessing is a very strong item for pretty much all ADCs, and provides a decent measure of early mana sustain.

You should never, ever, ever do your start 2. You don't need that much mana to require Chalice of Mana. You've got 2 regular damage abilities outside your ult, and one is used for wave-clear/poke, and the other is situational use as an escape or chase, so you won't be using it all the time.

As an FYI of how I start Cern when going with Devo's, it's Hunter's Blessing, Spiked Gauntlet, 3 Healing Potions, and 1 Mana Potion. That's plenty.

Your full build example is mostly fine. However, there are 2 things I'd change with the first 6 items:
  • Consider Warrior Tabi over Ninja Tabi. You're getting Odysseus' Bow 3rd, which has no power and a buttload of AS. The DPS may be better balanced with the higher power of Warrior, at least at that stage of the game. Ninja is still okay if you prefer, though.

Well...then again, Ninja is getting buffed for the Mid-Season patch, so maybe just keep it the way it is (stupid buff).

  • Double-lifesteal with Asi 6th isn't necessary. It's not bad, but you should have options. And those options should also be a listing of functional items that you can also consider for Boots replacement, which you forgot about again.
Situational items that he can consider would include Ichaival, Runeforged Hammer (in Winter Stance to start), and Bloodforge, on top of Asi in that 6th spot.

Overall, the build direction is fine. It's just the starts that are horribly inefficient, and the lack of other item considerations late-game.
