Vulcan Guide
Suck My Boom Stick

Introduction

"Anvil, meet hammer!" - Vulcan

So You Wanna Be A God with The Craftsman himself Vulcan? Vulcan is a very fun god to play because of his easy to pick up but hard to master play style. The most important factor of Vulcan is his positioning. Being that fact that he lacks an escape, you have to learn to space yourself properly when entering a team fight. Also I think this goes without saying but you Must Must Must MUST!!!! Ward!!!!!!
Anyways now that we got that out of the way Lets continue with the guide.

The Build

These will be your core items

Book Of Thoth This is one of the first items you want to buy, so that you can start stacking as soon as possible. Only exception to this is maybe boots. Vulcan is a very mana hungry god. And once you get this online. You will hit so much harder and sustain so much longer with that almost seemingly infinite mana. I do suggest you build mage's blessing for the mana regen until you get enough gold to either complete boots or enough to get tier 2 Book of Thoth and Wards! On first back.
Shoes Of The Magi This Item is just as important to build. If you decide to build this first I wouldn't blame you. Vulcan has no escape when being chased down by those dang aggressive junglers. This item is also great to get back to lane quicker. I'm sure most of this goes without saying though. Just know for all you newbies. Build boots!!!!
Spear Of Desolation This will be your third most important item to build. This item will provide power, cool down, and penetration. If you decided to build magi's blessing then you will have an extra 10% cool down as well.

Everything else is up to you. I placed Items in both cases up top. If you're behind you might wanna build into a little defense, whether that be health or protections and Vice-Versa.

Skills

Master Craftsman

Whenever Vulcan successfully hits an enemy god with an ability he gains bonuses to Movement Speed and MP5 for 5s.

MY THOUGHTS

Vulcan's Backfire

Vulcan blasts a fireball out of his Forge, pushing him back and dealing damage to all enemies in its path, marking the first god that is hit. The Inferno Cannon prioritizes the marked target and deals 15% more damage to that god.

MY THOUGHTS

Inferno Cannon

Vulcan constructs an Inferno Cannon that shoots fireballs in a cone that deal damage to the target every second. The Inferno Cannon lasts until destroyed or another is placed. This inherits Vulcan's penetrations but does not apply on-hit effects. Inferno Cannon takes 50% additional damage from non-god sources.

MY THOUGHTS

Magma Bomb

Vulcan tosses a bomb that explodes in a radius on impact with the ground, damaging and knocking back nearby enemies.

MY THOUGHTS

Earthshaker

Vulcan launches a rocket that explodes on impact with the ground. The rocket starts at 60% strength, and increases in damage the further it travels from Vulcan.

MY THOUGHTS

Combo

Pop 'N' Lock

For this combo Pop N Lock, You wanna Throw out your Magma Bomb because its the easiest ability to hit. it also causes a nice knock up allowing you to hit your Backfire ability without the enemy able to juke it. It does require a little bit of skill and can be hard to hit in some situations. But it does provide the easiest way to score a nice attack. Once you've hit the Backfire set down the turret either inside of the opponent's range. Or you can set it in the direction you predict your opponent to retreat too. Rinse and Repeat and you got yourself a nice little Kill.

Hi. I found this very useful. But please update it to the latest patch? Maybe there are some item changes etc.
Just wondering would boots of speed can work on Vulcan since it gives 25% speed to outrun enemy and a nice MP5 gain since he is mana hungry? Just my little opinion.
Thank you.

Yea Boogie it can be risky to start tier 2 Book of Thoth. But If play back a lil bit you'll be fine. Its nice for Vulcan that his 1 doesn't use that much Mana. So he should be okay on Mana. You just gotta be careful on getting poked out early.
