Skills

Hachiman is a god that requires a bit of play time to get good at. His wave clear and general poke is his 2, which will be maxed first. His 3 is a good set up if u activate his 1, dash in and hit the stun, then start unloading your 1 on the stunned person for a good amount of damage. The 1 skill is upgraded last because the damage from it is minimal. The 1 is used to boost close range damage or to hit enemies running from you after an engagement. The 3 is upgraded second because the damage from it and the decreased CD you gain from leveling it. In my opinion the ult is used for lasting an escaping god or to utilize the slow from the aoe cone in front of him to lead into your team jumping on the enemies. Your ult and 3 can both be used for escapes. If you lead into a fight with your ult or your 3, save the corresponding skill for your escape if you get into trouble.

I have played several games with ganesha and ymir. Both work extremely well, but ganesha is just a good support to any hunter. the bonus damage, the dash and grab, and the scilence helps save and destroy your opponents.
