I was thinking of maybe using hasten katana, golden blade, and bloodforge for him. What would be a good build ultizing all three items for him? (this is for jungler)
In the early game, you could just use his 2 or 3 to help with clear, since they can hit multiple enemies.
That said, Katana is a luxury, and very helpful if you do get it. Added MS which is never bad, and the AS is great if you are building in that direction. This build IS targeting that with the presence of Qin's Sais and The Executioner.
As for Bloodforge, that can also be nice, but it's not core. If you have enough AS and you want that added sustain, it's a solid option as long as you're the one doing the killing. But I do think he's best being a bit bruiser with some protections...safer that way. And so, depending on the rest of the build, you may or may not have space for it.
I miss those times when he was S+ almost SS after the buffs and before the passive change (or even right after the change).
There are better picks for solo and he's a better jungler than warrior, so that's why we don't see him in solo that often.
I understand all your situational recommendations, except for Frostbound Hammer. Could you explain it, please?
