Introduction

Hello to all the Smite players out there. Welcome to my first guide, I've been playing Fafnir testing out a lot of builds. These are the observations I felt give me the most benefit. please test them and leave comments below.

Team Work

Aphrodite
having her as a partner has various benefits. She can kiss you thus healing you and giving you manna thus keeping you in the fight longer. She also can use are ult to protect you when you engage deep in team fight.

Ares

Having him on your team you can combine your ults. In turn doing a lot of damage while having a lot of crowd control for your other teammates to tear down the enemy teams health bars. Ares ult is great for stunning the enemy team in one area for you to activate your Dragon form.

Ymir
with him on your team there are a lot of opportunities for an abundance of crowd control.
Being that he can freeze the enemy team with the low cooldown there are many opportunities to pop your Dragon form thus doing a considerable amount of damage and disrupting the enemy team for your teammates to pick off.

Strategy

At the start of the match you should only purchase watcher's gift for 800 gold. Thus leaving you 700 gold for your passive. Which still gives you some protections

Only buy items if you have more than enough gold to keep your passive up. Since your passive acts like a tier 2 protection item. You should always make sure before you purchase the next item you have enough to keep your protections you currently have

Make sure you are everywhere on the map. With watcher's gift you gain an additional four gold plus heal for 10 HP and 5 Manna for every assist. So with your passive you effectively gain an additional four gold totaling up to eight gold per assist in minion kills. Effectively keeping your farm nice and stocked

You as Fafnir can use your buff to give whoever your carry is extra damage while also healing yourself.

Also every item you get should be something contributing to the fact that when you're the proximity of the enemy team they feel your ominous presence whether that be from the mystical mail ticking them down or the void stone eating away at their magical protection.

You should save all of your abilities to help the team. With the only exception being chasing down and cleaning up left overs.

When your team is in position you should engage like a warrior disrupting the enemy team positioning and as the game progresses find out who has the most kills on the enemy team and build your protection accordingly.

Furthermore the last item is totally situational

Gameplay Theory

I recommend since you will spend majority of your time around the enemy team you should prioritize purchasing mystical mail. In theory while you engage with them they receive passive damage that would otherwise not be if you had built another item.

I recommend if the enemy team has one Hunter with the majority being mages on their team you still purchase hide of the nemean lion. Because in theory you can locking down the Hunter first by nerfing their damage also returning 20% of their damage back to them.

Hey sir... I have a big problem with you copy and pasting from my guides! when the Pros/Cons are exactly the same in the same order as mine it bring a lot of suspicion... I hope you realize what you are doing is wrong so please take it down and change it.

Most people like him are just lazy and they don't have enough strength to do anything, so they just copy.
