I can agree that Skadi gets more function out of her abilities than some other hunters. That said, playing devil's advocate against you (sorry Gulf) and will point out that she still needs some DPS.

• Piercing Cold: 15 second CD base
• Permafrost: 18 second CD base
• Kaldr, The Winter Wolf: scales his own attack speed at 50% of Skadi's, so AS can benefit him.

Those CDRs are loooong.

Especially in the Arena setting, Skadi may want to remain effective with boxing while her abilities are on CD. Hybrid builds work on her better compared to some other hunters, but I personally wouldn't want to build her as a physical mage, to the extent I'd be willing to do with Neith, for example.

But this all leads back to the build as a whole. You want pen. 10 flat from Jotunn's isn't going to cut it. Crit items, as I stated elsewhere in these comments, don't really pair perfectly with Trans because good crit takes up 2 slots, lessening build flexibility. A better direction for her, if pairing with Trans in a hybrid function, would probably utilize Qin's Sais, and look more like this:

• Ninja Tabi
• Transcendence
• Soul Eater
• The Executioner
• Qin's Sais
• Jotunn's Wrath

AS from Ninja, Exe and Qin's will give enough to make Qin's functional. You get 20% CDR pretty early between Trans and SE. Exe, as stated, is absolutely necessary for good DPS, and obviously more effective against tanks. Qin's as a single item provides the best boost to DPS. And finally, complete the true hybrid function by adding Jotunn's for 40% CDR. This, of course, isn't necessary, and you could instead get Brawler's Beat Stick (anti-heal) or Odysseus' Bow (group damage and much better Qin's function for basics).

True. Unfortunately even the most meta of builds can fail to perform if your teammates aren't protecting you or doing damage to the enemy. I'm not saying names DV-8, but it's hard to do your job as an ADC if you're constantly being focused.

I looked through casey's builds for various gods and I've noticed he makes similar statements like this, even though you have commented and told him why his builds are not functional.

Thats why i made my particular statement. No offense to you casey.

I would go: Transcendence, Warrior Tabi, The Crusher, The Executioner, Qin's Sais, Jotunn's Wrath or Soul Eater depending on whether or not I need lifesteal. I would only get Titan's Bane last if there were 2+ tanks on the other team. I would also work in Brawler's Beat Stick if the enemy had healing. The purchase order isn't set in stone: I would adjust it as needed depending upon the matchup and how the game was going.
