Notes go straight into Chronos pendent using your passive(or go back to base) to get in it lane early trying to get max cdr as fast as you can is how you are going to win your lanes but taking advantage of your already low cooldowns and you will be able to spam abilities to win your lane.

Notes I recommend if facing a healer to build divine ruin instead of rod of tuhiti and replace doom orb with rod of tuhiti.chang'e is one of the best anti healing gods with the 50% healing reduction that comes with her moonflower dance this effect stacks with anti healing items.

Notes I would move into the book of Thoth after Chronos pendant and boots because going off the whole spamming abilities theme you're going to need as much manna as you can get making book of Thoth perfect for us and before getting the speed potion I would sell your starter item for spear of desolation.

chang'e this season is supposed to be s tier according to fineok and his tier list and I think we need an official s8 build for her showing her true potential on the battlefield.
chang'e is an amazing mid laner and personally to me a better solo lanner but she has high potential in both lanes with her low cdr and passive. well let's talk about her passive chang'e passive has 2 parts both being really good 1.your abilities give you 20% movement speed and don't have a back peddle having mastery over this makes kills easier to secure. this effect can also come in handy when trying to escape and or run from an enemy god.
when trying to secure fast damage or trying to clear the minion wave fast you want to try to use your moonflower dance and then quickly after use crescent moon dance because moonflower dance has a faster animation than crescent moon dance. chang'e 2nd passive is jade rabbit this affects allows you to buy things without having to go back to base you send jade instead it will take a while for you to get your item but not too long it comes useful when your full health and manna and you don't want to leave lane even though you need wards potions or an item jade becomes very useful. you can also sell items but I wouldn't recommend doing that because jade takes the item and goes all the way back to base to bring you the gold leaving you 1 item behind everyone else so it's not recommended to sell any of your items with your passive.

pros: low cooldown, unique passive, high dmg
cons: basic attacks arent so amazing, squishy, healing could be better not your ideal healer

Team Work

chang'e is an amazing team fight god utilizing the area dmg her abilities offer her.
even though chang'e doesn't have the best healing using items like lotus crown and rod of Asclepius up's the valubility of her healing. chang'e can also restore manna to nearby allies but it's harder to do, when using moonlit walts you see the small circle surrounding chang'e when you restore manna to yourself by avoiding tics of dmg you also restore that mana to the people around you. last but not least waxing moon dance aka chang'e ult I would try to save your ult for when you can use it at its most effective stunning more than one god leaving the other gods stunned longer making them easy targets in a team fight and helping shut down gods before they can contribute to the team fight. using your ult to secure kills and or help save an ally is worth using your ult because of its low cooldown I would only use your ult on one god if you know you will be able to get the kill or you would be taking the risk of wasting it.

this build tbh i wish i could remove from the site i rushed it and dont have alot of time on my hands to fix it i kina wish i could just remove all my builds because i just have been geting so manny coments and dislikes so its obvi that the way i play the game is difrent from evryone none of this is fixed the notes are probs all messed up yes i know i can see all the dislikes i got i was just uploding my ideas i guess it wasent a good one

I'm going to have to say the biggest reason for the dislikes is mostly because of the stuff not matching up (notes and builds) making it confusing. I waited with voting until I saw 6 days later no update to fix it was pushed

Shoes/boots are very important in almost any build because they not only provide extra early movement speed, they also have good stats and passive for not much gold. If your MS is lower than your opponent, it becomes hard to chase/retreat and having no extra ms to start with hurts your juking potential. That being said, there is a thing as too much MS because of diminishing returns.

I will say, I don't think is the way to go for her right now. I'd avoid it. I think a rush is fine, or a rush. Maybe even a rush. You want to be careful if you're going to go into since it now has 20% CDR, so it's either Chronos or a combination of + , or just don't max (though I personally don't feel maxing at 40% is bad for her even with the availability of .

But the other major thing is build order. You want that to be clear, and you want it to be correct. Spotting a very late Shoes is a pretty big red flag, even if you actually build it earlier. Sequence is important for all items.

Eh I've just been here a long time =P

Realized I didn't really explain why no . While it's a fine item overall, it's fairly expensive, and so it needs to bring something unique to the table. While (almost) unlimited mana is nice, and the power equiv is nice, there are currently other items that can do that to a similar degree.

Doom Orb provides some mana sustain, high power, added base MS, and the situational temp stacking MS. MS is nice for a god like Chang'e that doesn't have any mobility.
Rod of Tahuti is obviously nice for the good power and the % pen (though early % pen isn't all that important). But the boost in power when your target is at lower health is pretty powerful...both offensively, and because she has healing, utility-wise.
Chronos' Pendant is good for spamming abilities, if you want to go that route with her. If you've seen some of Kriega's other comments, he's currently saying burst damage w/ Archmage's Gem is best on her right now for a specific back-line dive combo utilizing her ult. But constant poke is also nice, and high CDR for more ults can be very useful for fights.

In any case, that's why you don't really see much Thoth right now. Takes stacking, and other items do somewhat similar things but also bring other utility to the table.

I understand your concept and while at it you could always add some pen and %pen into your guides. I see the the but in order to shred tanks you need some %penetration. I play as a tank myself and I actually am wary of a mage only when they have %penetration, I find that way they deal a chunk of damage to me, otherwise I bully them to death. So pen/%pen would also help your team.

The other thing is a technical problem I believe, but complete the guide with boots and whole six items, it would look better and more clear to newer players. See it fit to separate relics into a new tab.

One build I use for mages, final would be: - - - or Dooms Orb - - or . Replace boots with an item of your choice after . When antiheal is needed, it triggers me when people don't buid , so take the effort to put instead of or Dooms Orb when needed.

This way it gives early on 30% Cooldown, so it fullfills the need to spam abilities although mana can be a problem. For Kuku for example manawise is indispensable so it would touch a bit the structure:
- - - - or Dooms Orb for that little speed - or .

When as a starter:
- - Chronos Pendant - or - - or .

Of course Change's playstyle could be different, these were just some general build patterns for mages I use. I haven't played with Change much though, so I don't understand her playstyle as much. Thanks for your sharing and effort!

getting boots 6th item
pendant into tahuti, while the notes say pendant in thoth.

someone searching for a quick build to use in game will often skip the notes using the order the items are listed. I recommend you heavily look at this.

with this build it's more focused on rushing cdr even though those items are good I made this guide intended for more of the beginners not for people who know their way around the game and blink and conduit gem don't fit in with what I had intended with this guide.

If this is for beginners why are you telling them to build bracer over beads and to build like only 10% pen? Without blink it's harder to just blink > ult the enemy backline with full archmage's proc and delete them, so the tanks are going to be in your face more and more easily zone you in fights.

chang'e comes with her moonlit walts and I just put this up because the build works amazing for me and bracers were put in due to the cdr theme I had with upgraded bracers.

Yes, is what allows you to justify on Chang'e, so you could go beads and blink.

Blink > Ult > 3 (faster cast than 1) > 1 > 3 (myrddin) on Chang'e deletes enemy backline when you have full build with archmage's + myrddin.
