Hello, I am EMC², from Reason Gaming. My current main role is Support/Tank and I consider myself to be a good player with a good understanding of this game.
Below is the picture of my stats (Updated: 06/12/2013)
How do I play Supports? Well imagine yourself as a 'helper' to your lane partner. You want to help him as much as you can to get big, to farm, to get kills, to not get killed. What does that mean? It means that as a Support player you should not be trying to steal any minion farm from your laning partner, nor any kills, if the fight is going and you see that your laning partner is dying, you should do everything you can to help him survive (do not leave him there alone), if you see that you can sacrifice yourself and make your laning partner live that is great. Obviously it is better that you both would not die, but if there's no other choice, do it.
For this build Blink is the core ability. Second ability depends on which lane you are going. If I am going to right lane, I prefer
but if I am going to left lane, I prefer
Always take either

first, because it helps a lot to take the early buffs (when the game starts). With the second back pick up Blink

also the items, can you explain why your using those particular ones?
ill give my argument as to why i dislike them.
firstly if you play ymir and dont get blink you might as well not play him, since its almost impossible to counter him with beads.
next thing, ymir passively is ridiculously tanky and so building full tank is overkill wasted.
hide of nemenian, unless they have a full blown team of carries specifically targeting you, why bother? generally the tank wont be targeted by half decent players, at least not till last, given they are not attacking you, hides reflection of damage is a complete waste.
IF you want a better item get wall of absolution, since it offers far superior physical protection, PLUS! it gives you that nice early game mp regen that ymir battles so much with, so thats more stuns being fired of, AND it gives more magic power which is epic since you have one of the highest scaling ultis in the game.
bulwarks clutch save on a tank, kinda meh but whatever floats your boat, personally i would get stone of gaia and that would be the end of my magic protection, or better yet if you can afford slightly less magic armor get void stone, better since more magic power for you as well as penetration for the team, i think thats a better "support"
magis blessing again total waste, in MOST not all, but most situations, any aoe gods or gods with ticks dont even bother since 1 sick of 30 dmg will pop it.
i had a blink guide out awhile ago but it needs updating and people can obviously build however they want, but i would say maybe check it out so you can see what i mean with items.

would be nice to see the guide when its completed though so good luck, i think there needs to be more blink guides for ymir, and different perspectives are always interesting.
