Summary

I'm a new smite player and I love playing Kali in conquest when I'm the jungler. I have tried experimenting with many Kali builds. Personally, I don't think Kali needs any crit items, although some may disagree. If you build Kali to have high attack speed and penetration, you can shred enemies. Late game, Kali has INSANE 1v1 potential and burst damage. However, her early game is rough, so you will want to farm as much as possible and only gank if necessary before reaching a higher level and completing your build.

Kali's 2 gives 30% lifesteal at max rank, I don't think you need asi on Kali, especially when you factor in her ult. As for your start swap tier 1 boots for tier 1 katana. pots should be 1 health pot and 1 multi pot.

Suprised to not see a single mention of Magi's Cloak. I think Golden Blade should be mentioned too. Next patch I don't think you're going to be rushing hastened katana on Kali (instead more of a third/fourth item).

The only relics you would ever need on a jungle Kali are blink and beads.

I haven't tried using Golden Blade yet. I'll give it a try. I definitely like your Magi's Cloak suggestion. I like to build Asi and Bloodforge early because the lifesteal allows Kali to farm in the jungle without needing to return to the fountain for health. Would you recommend building different items early game?

Yes, an example build could be: Warrior Tabi, Crusher, Stone Cutting, hastened katana, qin’s sais, magi’s cloak/executioner, sell boots for one I didn’t get.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
