Jungle Bastet Conquest
Jungle Bastet Conquest THIS BUILD IS ONLY THREATS BUT AS HOW WELL YOU CAN COMBO WITH A TEAMMATE INSTEAD FROM 1 LEAST - 5 BEST

Purchase Order

Starter Notes Start with Morningstar in order to build your Transcendence stacks faster

Transcendence / Morningstar got a new update for 6.6, what changed it that for +50 more gold morningstar now gives +5 mana per second which combined with the patch a while ago which made bastets razor claw cost less mana will REALLY change bastets early game mana hunger. and because of this early game mana boost id reccomend to build morningstar/transendence fisrt instead of boosts alongside with you get to build its stacks faster.

Build Item Assassin's Blessing Assassin's Blessing
Build Item Morningstar Morningstar
Build Item Healing Potion Healing Potion
Build Item Healing Potion Healing Potion
Build Item Mana Potion Mana Potion

Build Item Multi Potion Multi Potion
Build Item Multi Potion Multi Potion
Build Item Baron's Brew Baron's Brew

Core (Needed) Notes The Crusher is here because of the extra damage overtime, attack speed, and penetration it gives. It is not needed but it can give you that extra ability damage which is really good.
Chalice of the Oracle If you are playing jungler and not the best at warding and forget. if you do remember to buy wards alot then instead buy normal wards (buy after transcendence)
Warrior Tabi Adds extra power for your abilities
Heartseeker is a really good offense item for bastet and provides extra ability damage and some penetration. (can be built in anyplace after first 2 items in your prefrense)

Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi
Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item The Crusher The Crusher
Build Item Chalice of the Oracle Chalice of the Oracle
Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker

Offensive Item Options Notes Heartseeker is amazing to make the ability based god on another level for the damage capable with abilities
Titan's Bane If the enemy has a tanky team then this is recommended
Brawler's Beat Stick If the enemy has a very affective healer or multiple then this is recommended, Ex: Aphrodite

Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker
Build Item Titan's Bane Titan's Bane
Build Item Brawler's Beat Stick Brawler's Beat Stick

Defensive Item Options Notes if you are being heavily countered and the following build is not working then defensive options could help
Spirit Robe Recommended for if assassin crowd control is the main problem with fast escape
Magi's Cloak This is Recommended and useful for unexpected crowd control from tanks because of the hard crowd control of not being affected, Ex: Cerberus Ultimate
Mantle of Discord For if you're are taking too much damage
Winged Blade Use when there are many slows in the game
Shifter's Shield For overall more protection to play safe late and mid game for more damage above 50%HP and more protections below 50%HP

Build Item Spirit Robe Spirit Robe
Build Item Magi's Cloak Magi's Cloak
Build Item Mantle of Discord Mantle of Discord
Build Item Winged Blade Winged Blade
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield

Relics & Endgame Consumables Notes Teleport Glyph An EXTREMELY Situational relic you would benefit from using the other relics more, the only time if this can work is if you want to take a tower quick but that's very risky
Purification Beads, Blink Rune, and Aegis Amulet are the relics you will mostly always use or always at least one, the other ones are optional and situational
Purification Beads ex: To escape Cerberus and Baron Samedi Ultimate
Aegis Amulet ex: to block incoming damage such as Posideon Ultimate
Blink Rune ex: to engage on a gank from the jungle or to escape if not hit yet

Build Item Purification Beads Purification Beads
Build Item Aegis Amulet Aegis Amulet
Build Item Blink Rune Blink Rune
Build Item Teleport Glyph Teleport Glyph
Build Item Elixir of Power Elixir of Power
Build Item Potion of Physical Might Potion of Physical Might

My Normal Build (When no optional items are needed) Notes Titan's Bane for late game when i sell boots for speed potion

Void Shield for late game when i sell boots for speed potion

Mantle of Discord for late game when i sell boots for speed potion

this is what i do for late game, i look at the situation and see what do i need?
if 2-3+ enemy's are building physical protection i will build titans bane
if i want some defense but still attack ill go for void shield and if 3+ physicals
if i need defense cause im getting killed alot i will go for Mantle of Discord for the high defense it gives in magical and physical

Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi

Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item The Crusher The Crusher
Build Item Titan's Bane Titan's Bane
Build Item Void Shield Void Shield
Build Item Mantle of Discord Mantle of Discord

Example Build Notes Jotuun's Wrath before heartseeker if you want more cooldown sooner into the game but if not then go for Heartseeker for extra ability damage
Shifter's Shield before the crusher if you want more damage sooner for abilitys but mostly only if your not dieing and doing good

Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi
Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item The Crusher The Crusher

Build w/ more Defense

Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi
Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker
Build Item Mantle of Discord Mantle of Discord

Build Example for No Crusher Notes If you are not going to be building The Crusher or an optional The Executioner then build Warrior Tabi Instead of Ninja Tabi

If you are running The Crusher then id recommend Ninja Tabi for the trade off, of 20 power for 20% attack speed makes up cause it combo's with The Crusher attack speed which can even get better with Heartseeker for you get the passive much faster but all of these still provide penetration

Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi
Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item Titan's Bane Titan's Bane

Item To Replace Boots Notes This is at the end of the game when you have all your 6 items
You buy the Elixir of Speed which costs 1500 and Warrior Tabi sells for 1065 so you will need 335 + (amount of next item)

Titan's Bane- this is really good for end game to increase your damage because most of the enemies will be tanky by then, it would be good to get this unless you already got titan's bane

Shifter's Shield is a good reliable option because it will provide with a constant +35 Power and +15 Physical protection
And over 50%HP you gain +15 power equaling to a constant +50 power
And under 50%HP you gain +35 physical and magical protections equaling out to +50 physical defense and +35 magical
This gives you good defense and good power when you really need it so it makes it reliable for bastet because of her play style
(and of course if you already have this)

Void Shield This is good for bastet but it would be good to get if you already have gotten Shifter's Shield and you want more defense but more power

Magi's Cloak Good if you already don't have this because of often hard croud control late game and the health and protections it gives you

Brawler's Beat Stick this is a good item but its not here because if they have healers than you should've gotten this item earlier

Build Item Titan's Bane Titan's Bane
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item Void Shield Void Shield
Build Item Magi's Cloak Magi's Cloak
Build Item Mantle of Discord Mantle of Discord

Core Defense Items Notes Shifter's Shield, if you want defense then this is a core defense item. This item still gives you a good amount of attack above 75% which is +70 physical power and +15 physcial protection, and under 755 you get more defense instead of power so +35 physical power and +50 physical protection and +35 Magical Protection. This is amazing for bastet cause bastet plays with going in, unloading you abilitys, and jumping back out alot and with this you get that attack boost to go in and release your abilitys and once under 75% health you get defense. This makes this a really good defense item or just an item for bastet

Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield

Situational Notes If your going against healers get Brawler's Beat Stick sooner (still getting other items other than your item after boots late game unless you want something else}
Or if your going against alot of tanky people build Titan's Bane sooner (for this your getting titans bane sooner instead of a late game boots sell item)

to see look at next 2 builds

Build Item Brawler's Beat Stick Brawler's Beat Stick
Build Item Titan's Bane Titan's Bane

Build good against Healers Notes Jotunn's Wrath before brawlers beat stick if the healing is not the biggest deal and you want cooldown faster but if it is then brawlers beat stick first

Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi
Build Item Brawler's Beat Stick Brawler's Beat Stick
Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker

Build good against tanks Notes Jotunn's Wrath before titans bane if you want cooldown faster and the tanky person your up against, you cant do alot of damage to you otherwise then cooldown is better.
Tips
  • If your jungle and you want to gank alot with tanky people there such as solo needs help then get titans first
  • If your playing a lane against someone tanky then get titans bane first
  • Other than those id recommend to build jotunn's wrath before titans bane for the 20% cooldown

Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Warrior Tabi Warrior Tabi
Build Item Titan's Bane Titan's Bane
Build Item Jotunn's Wrath Jotunn's Wrath
Build Item Shifter's Shield Shifter's Shield
Build Item Heartseeker Heartseeker

Items and Explanation

THE SKILL SEQUENCE IS OPTIONAL BUT IS MY NORMALLY USED SKILL ORDER
-Remove Jungler Blessing if not playing Jungler
This build is not only efficient in high ability damage but also hard basic attack damage and a lot of penetration and cooldown reduction. Ganking and surprises of massive amount of damage. Also this builds allows a pounced followed up with abilities and even some basic attacks.
Warrior Tabi Provides more damage for abilities and overall a more safer and more damage, reliable option for boots
Ninja Tabi Provides extra mana for transcendence passive and extra attack speed but is risky because in most games going for alot of basic attacks instead of abilities is a very not reliable option so Warrior Tabi Is recommended instead
The Crusher This provides extra penetration, attack speed, and even more bleed damage ontop of Razor Whip and other abilities
Heartseeker Provides insane ability damage, mana for transcendence passive, and because of the passive of heartseeker where you need 5 basic attacks for extra 80% next ability damage you can get this passive very quick with the crusher attack speed bonus, also gives 15 penetration, (A Very Recommended Option)
Shifter's Shield with the new update is a very good change for bastet, what changed is shifters shield now give the defense boost instead of the attack boost lower than 75% and the attack boost instead of the defense boost above 75%, this is a really good item for bastet because bastet is a god for you to jump in, unleash everything any jump back out, so if you get that defense boost earlier while going in it can save your life, in my opinion this change makes shifter's shield a core defense item and if not building defense still good for a late game item. (BTW, currently on live it still says its old description but it has changed)
Transcendence this item is needed for bastet unless your playing a gamemode were you can not build stacks. What this item does is give you alot of mana so you never have to worry about it again once gotten and with that comes a passive similar to kuklkukans passive with the amount of mana you have it converts to power and let me tell you does this give you alot of damage. And with the new patch this now provides you with +5 mana per second which for bastet's early game is Amazing.
Mage's Blessing This is a blessing to use if your not playing jungle and playing a different lane because this provides more damage, ability damage, more mana, and 10% cooldown reduction at full stacks, everything good for bastet.

Overall all of these buffs revolve around each other and all are very effective

Pros / Cons

Pros:
  • Good burst and bleed damage
  • Amazing ability damage
  • Strong and Fast Basic attack damage
  • Great ganking and surprises with high damage quick escape
  • One of the best Gods to backdoor (Only if is a good option SITUATIONAL)
  • Great kill confirm to enemy's retreating
  • Fast cooldown reduction and alot of penetration
  • Good pressure and poke with abilities (carefully)
  • Some Slows to enemy's
Cons:
  • Very squishy
  • Low mana early game until transcendence Baron's Brew will help with this
  • Stuns are a weakness
  • Could be pressured by early game jungler if not careful
  • Hard area damage Could insta kill Cat Call
.
.
.
.
.

Tips

  • Open Wound(Passive) if an ability hits then you then if you hit them with another ability within 3 seconds then they take 20% more damage from that ability
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Combo your abilities
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Abuse damage and easy escape with using Pounce behind a wall for ganking from the jungle or somewhere on the enemy's and then follow up with abilities and fast hitting basic attacks
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Abuse Heart Seeker, it will really help with increasing DPS so sometimes when possible use basic attacks if not in a threat
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Cat Call and Declaw Slows so use that to your advantage
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Cat Call Remember that the cats go after the closest enemy nearby but they will go to who ever you Razor Whiped last when you spawned them, and when a cat dies you gain physical power for 9 seconds up to 3 times
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Cat Call Be careful who you use it on because if they have very strong area attack damage then they cat one shot your cats
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Be careful very early game for mana and health can sometimes be a problem
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • If you are using Teleport Glyph and the opportunity is open and coordinated with your team you can backdoor a tower or phoenix with teleporting to a strategically placed ward and take it down, this can be clutch sometimes and very change the outcome of the game (it could lead to a death but most health or all of the health from that structure will be gone and it would be a fair trade) (if you are send in your cats which they are on one the only spawnable things that attack towers and tank the damage for your along side with your strong and fast basic attacks and do not use other abilities they will not work
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • If you are directly in front of someone and use Cat Call you will trap them and they cant move because you and your cats are circling the enemy
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Be careful on how you use Cat Call because sometimes the AI of the cats are very well not smart so practice with it and make sure to use Razor Whip smell for cats to your advantage for who to target and be VERY careful to not miss it and hit minions only cause well.... your cats will target the minions instead of the enemy gods so remember that
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • (random tip) If Loki ults you, you can counter it with cat call for he cant hit you because the cats slow is to much and you can even kill confirm him with high damage from the cats

Build Tips

  • You will want to get 40% cooldown reduction in every build.
  • You will want to build mostly attack items but still some defense

Strategys (will be adding more to this)

  • Number 1

, if your in lategame and your enemy is ahead of you in towers than Split Push is a good strategy. What split push is well, pushing in multiple lanes. Bastet is easily one of the best gods to split push a tower with Cat Call this is an example

EX1: (Scenario) enemy has 3 phoenix up and we have a half health titan with 2 phoenixes, what you should do it tell your team to defend and if you have a teleport ward which would be better or if not go there as fast as you can and take a phoenix because your cats will hurt the phoenix and the Phoenix will attack the cats not you along with your damage. This is just 1 example of what to do with taking down towers with bastet. and heres a tip if your going to take a tower, (wait for the minions to go by, this is REQUIRED because what will happen is, is that the cats will go after the minions instead because the cats go for enemys first and lastly towers and then stand there at where they killed the minions or not do damage to the tower, and do not kill the minions cause then that reveals you on the map and then you will be hunted down.

Abilitys

Combos

Bastet is a combo character and you want combo all of your abilities together because that's when she is most effective and there a lot of combos possible along with the passive for many different situations

These are only examples and the more you play as bastet you will know what combos to use in different scenarios

Pounce

Bastets pounce is the ability that does really good burst damage and an amazing enter, and escape, and a good start up for a combo or anytime in a combo

  • Example: Jump in with Pounce and combo up with your other abilitys
  • Example: If jumped in with Pounce you can escape quickly by jumping back again, and once in you can throw all your abilitys out and jump back
  • Example: (In a battle and low) use Pounce to get out and even better when jumping threw a wall or once threw the wall use Blink Rune
  • Example: Juking people with Pounce by pouncing somewhere and leading them there and jumping back near the end of the jump
  • Example: Suprise attacking enemys with Pounce threw the wall (simple enough)

These are only some of the examples of what to do with pounce

Razor Whip

Bastets Razor Whip is the main ability of damage for bastet and should be in almost every combo

  • Example: For good bastet poke damage you want to jump in with Pounce and then use Razor Whip and jump back
  • Example: For minion waves because the cone shape of Razor Whip you can hit the god and the minions
  • Example: your Cat Call cats will go after the recent person hit by Razor Whip once summoned (be careful cause if you miss the gods and only hit minions they will target the minions]]
  • Example: Razor claw can finish off low enemys from the bleed cause its the best basic damage ability for bastet

These are only some of the example for what to do with Razor Whip

Declaw

Bastets Declaw is her ranged ability to hit 1 target in a straight long line and good for poke damage and to apply her passive Open Wound, and the declaw slows

  • Example: hit Declaw from a distance and then use Pounce for the extra damage from her passive Open Wound with the good burst from pounce
  • Example: hit a running enemy with Declaw to slow them down and follow up
  • Example: Declaw is just another great ability for more burst
  • Example: to be safe from stuns use Declaw to poke from a distance

These are only some example to what to do with Declaw

Bastet Gameplay Conquest

This is on how to play against enemies in different roles

  • First you want to get in and then get out with bastet and once in load out all of your abilites and jump back
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Playing from jungle you want to jump on to the enemy from the jungle unexpexcently or go from behind and this will suprise them and you have enough time to Cat Call on them and attack them with your allies
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • If you are playing mid then you want to go for Mage's Blessing because this helps with extra ability damage and on mana which will really help early game in mid
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • how to play in mid it to poke and jump in with your Pounce and then use your other 2 abilitys and this will do really good damage on a mage this is also with bastets passive which makes this tactic even better
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • The more you play with bastet the more you get skill at her on attacking, positioning, ect, so keep practicing and you will see her true potential
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • If it is late game and the enemys are grouped up, do not jump in alone because your cats will get killed and you will get stunned and killed, if you want to poke use Declaw but otherwise go in with your team and you and your cats will apply alot of pressure ontop of your allies and most likely force out any aoe ults so be careful on how you play in this situation
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Make sure to gank and tell your allies before so they can back up near there tower or where ever they are and then you suprise them with Cat Call and other abilites once jumped in with Pounce

Ward

WARD!!!!!!

  • If you play jungle then always ward for bastet it may be difficult at start game because of low mana and needed money for first wards but first recall (or if really needed)
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • After you finish boots get Chalice of the Oracle this is needed most times because warding is very important and because money could sometimes be a struggle, but having that everytime you recall you regain 2 wards is very useful for constant warding especially for beginners
    +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • If you do not know where to ward then you can search it up and there is some really good guides, i normally always put one near the enemies attack camp or a little below it, because it really helps with spotting out the enemy mid laner once they come in from getting there camp, another good spot is to the left of the mid lane or near there speed camp and this normally gives the position of the enemy jungler, but still search up good ward spots

Overall Summary

Attention: I am a good player not a pro (I shouldn't be saying that about myself but iv played enough and i have game awareness about the game) and i have done some research on pros and the games and mechanics

I am Prestige 1 with Bastet aka: 2000 worshipers currently

Hopefully this guide has helped you in any way possible if you have any suggestions on how to make this better it would be appreciated, and it was very hard to not make at least 1 pun but i wont do it for any of you innocent souls, and a Happy 2019

Recent Item Change that affects Bastet

SMITE PATCH 6.6

Shifter's Shield

"

Shifter’s Shield encourages upfront aggression before swapping to defensive harassment. We are changing the percentage this effect swaps at, highlighting both its strengths. Enemies will now want to engage at high health thresholds and a quick swap to bonus protections after the engage abilities have been used.”

Changed Percentage threshold for its effects.
While over 75% (up from 50%), you gain +35 Physical Power.
While under 75% (up from 50%), you gain +35 Physical and Magical Protection.

(This Change Really Affects how this item works with bastet and it does a lot because of the type of get in, release ability's, and get out play stlye bastet has this really works with putting your damage in first and getting that defense to jump out and not die)

Morningstar

"

The Morningstar tree is the go to for mana hungry damage dealers. In this update we are making this clear on the Tier 1 item, granting early Mana regeneration for a low cost. Gods who need mana regeneration can now start with a Starter and a Tier 1 option, which should open up starting item choices. Each item in this tree needed minor adjustments to reflect the change to Morningstar and have been listed below.”

Now provides 5 MP5.
Increased cost from 550 to 600.

(This Changes ALOT for bastets early game, this is an item you will always want to get and bastet is really mana hungry early game, and with her item she gets giving 5 mana per second really changes how long she can stay in for early game. I technically call this a bastet buff)

Recent God Change

BASTET

SMITE PATCH 6.5

"

As we continue to look for quality of life improvements and ways to polish up old gods, we have updated the targeting elements on abilities like Bastet’s Declaw. This ability fires a line shot projectile but it detonates into a circle that wasn’t previously conveyed. This will now be shown clearly, and similar treatments will be applied to abilities on Kukulkan and Scylla.

Declaw

Added a circle targeter element to the ability targeter to convey this ability’s area of effect when it hits an enemy

SMITE PATCH 6.1

"

]Bastet can be powerful in the right hands, but mana costs early and her overall presence late make it difficult for her to really excel. We want to address these two issues. Declaw now has a flat mana cost, allowing it to be used more often during ganks and just for poke. Razor Whip is getting a large scaling increase to ensure her damage output stays relevant at the latest stages of the game. -

Razor Whip

Increased Physical Power scaling from 20% to 25%.

Declaw

Decreased Mana cost from 70/75/80/85/90 to 60 at all ranks.

PATCH 5.22

"

Bastet is the truest version of an ability based assassin, with powerful abilities that have longer animation times to justify their power. She is however bound by cooldown, limiting how often she can impact and threaten enemies in a teamfight. We are reducing the cooldown of Razer Whip to not only help her Early game clear (but not increase her already strong gank potential) but to also allow her to threaten players more often in the late game.

Razor Whip

Decrease Cooldown from 15s to 13s

Season 6 Is Out!

What up everyone so 6.1 is finally out for all versions of smite and now is time to finally be trying the new Bastet buffs and everything else, i still have more to update when the meta changes but anyways these are 2 main changes that will effect bastet
The most main 2 things before i make big changes for the new season are these

  • 1.

Seeing out how much of a difference the buff is
  • 2.

    The New Changes to Conquest

    More on Point 1.

    • (The Changes to Bastet are above)
      +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    • So the change for 60 Mana for all Levels of Declaw does change does effect bastet in a way that depends on how you build your skill order on bastet. If you normally upgrade Declaw earlier then this buff will Really help your early game on stamina consumption but for me i normally upgrade Declaw last. But either way this buff still helps because the starting -10 different mana use can sometimes change whether your able to perform the ability or not which can help
      +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    • Also the Razor Whip buff of the Increased Physical Power scaling from 20& to 25% will add that extra damage to create overall more burst damage and hopefully more lategame along side with the extra relic Elixir of Speed
      +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    • The Razor Whip buff from the patch before for 13 cooldown from 15 also helps the extra power of burst that more hurtful
      +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      More on Point 2.

    • Conquest and new things might change around because of how early we are into season 6 so this can change some stuff around
    • It is now 6.5 current from this part and the new item changes have not been for items that you would want to build for bastet and there was no new map for the new season so the new season is not the biggest change

Im thinking on starting a mid lane then maybe a solo lane and also maybe a carry build

      Update!

Its Summer! so i will be on more and playing smite more, and i hope ya have a good day! (=^-ω-^=)

Im starting to update this guide for season 6 more finally and i hope it helps you in any way, again if you have any feedback in any way like recommendations or talking about something in the guide dont be afraid to comment your opinion on it, either way its constructive criticism so if something sounds rude i wont take it personally because this is for the better ya know! and if you want me to make another build for a more situational lane that changes this build such as solo just comment that lane or any recommendations on new threats that should be added, any ways have a good day or night where ever you are (=^-ω-^=)

Hi Epic,

I hadn't commented up to this point other than a stupid "lol" to Myst's comment, but want to say this looks pretty solid overall. Builds look good. Would prefer to see a more dedicated section to ability discussion rather than just lump them all into the tips chapter.

Couple other points.
  • One tip you might consider is when using Pounce, you might gain a bit of an advantage if you actually aim BEHIND them (when they're facing you). You might also aim near the edge of its AOE, especially if they mostly have melee-based abilities. Either way, landing behind them forces them to turn to target you. Yes, it also forces YOU to turn to target them, but you have the advantage of having planned for this, and can get a bit of a jump on them.

  • You talk about getting Chalice of the Oracle after finishing boots. I might tone that down just a bit, to say more along the lines of just "get Chalice when you have the opportunity." Specifically, it just reads as "after Boots, Chalice is the priority." But you also don't want to slow down your normal build progress...so in a case where you can afford a T2 or T3 item, you might want to do that, and just get one or two Wards to cover you a bit...and then pick up Chalice when it's not a choice between that or a nice boost to your damage potential. Get what I'm saying?

Hi thanks for the feedback
  • so on point 1. yeah thanks ill put an ability discussion topic area i haven't yet because you want to mostly combo your abilities so with an ability would have a lot to do with another but yeah ill make a section for that, and ill go more in depth about approaching with pounce and how to use it and other abilities.

  • and point 2. the chalice of the oracle i dont use anymore but its recommended for newer players that forget to ward ya know, and yeah i get what your saying because it is expensive and i might need to find another spot for it in the build such as after a different item or something like that.

This is literally the Bastet build I use. Nice to see another 1000+ worshippers Bastet player around! +1 from me!

Seems very solid overall.

You should consider Ancile (on-see-lay (hahahaha)) as a situational item at least.

Plus, I liked the cute face in the title, will give a +1 hahaha

Ok ill try some games with Anchile and see if its viable enough on bastet to stitch on in a situation where it's needed

What is your opinion on Masamune as an item option?

Also, I like the idea of including recent changes to the god in the guide.

Hi thanks for giving your ideas and on how i put the recent god changes

Anyway here is my opinion on using Masamune

My opinion on Masamune is that the protections can be nice, but over the other offensive item options is that its not to much viable, with bastet you want to get in with Pounce and do as much damage as possible then get out with Pounce again but the item doesn't really fit with how she plays. You can build some more defense, but then to maintain high damage and protections in the overall game going for Shifter's Shield would be a better and more viable option with her playstyle. The movement speed and the 50 physical damage isn't to much to trade out for the Titan's Bane damage against protections or Brawler's Beat Stick which provides 40 physical power, 15 penetration and also its passive for how it only applies from using abilities. Also giving up penetration especially in this current time shouldn't be traded out for.

I agree that it is outclassed by other item options. I meant for it to be more of a situational pick. An item with offensive focus that provides minimal defensive perks.

For example: Warrior Tabi, Transcendence, Jotunn's Wrath, Heartseeker, The Crusher, Masamune.
(Offensive build for pub-stomping where you don't necessarily need to fully commit to a defensive item)

Again, I agree that it isn't the best item in most situations though.

The updates to this guide look great by the way. Nice job.
