Early on make sure to be using the potions and make sure to hit enough minions to get that passive going. I'm normally aggressive with Xing trying to grab peoples attention so that they focus on you not the usual Loki coming up behind or the Sol about to blast them away. Later on after the breastplate, Bulwark, and staff you can try to sweep people out of towers if playing lane matches. and as the match goes on you can decide with or not you need to be more of a tank or be slowing/hurting the enemy more. I normally go for HP5 items in siege, but add Mystical Mail in arena. Also this in't a word for word style of build if you think you need Magi's blessing or other items go for them.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
