Introduction to kumbhakarna

***bakharna is a brilliant guardian to play! the sleeping giant is relatively hard but when played right can be devestating in battle.

His first ability is knockback which is his best ability. He runs fowards and stops at the first person he hits, if its a minion he throws it forward; this ability is great for clearing waves and for hitting those annoying enemies who run behind minions or sit at their tower.

His second ability groggy strike is useful however i would only advise getting one point in it and then maxing it last, this is because it has a very long wind up time and very low damage it's main use is just to root the enemy for 1.5 seconds.

His third ability is useful for team fights with communication or for escaping, he lets out a mighty yawn and mesmerizes all enemies in the very short radius, however if the enemy is hit the mesmerize effect is removed hence the need for communication.

Lastly his ultimate is an epic uppercut, very similar to his first ability he runs and the first enemy he hits is launched in to the air and upon landing deals a lot of damage in the AOE, this is where groggy strike comes in since the opponent will be in the air for 2.2 seconds, so you can prepare a groggy strike for when they land helping to secure the kill if they don't die upon landing.

Pros and cons to kumbakharna

Pros:
His ultimate does AOE damage which helps greatly in team fights
His groggy strike roots an enemy for 1.5s which helps to secure kills
His knockback is great for clearing waves and harrassing enemies
His mesmerize is great for preparing teamfights and escaping
With magical power he wrecks everyone (sort of)

Cons:
His ultimate can be easily dodged due to its low range and low speed, and if an enemy is smart they could just sidestep it
His groggy strike takes a long time to wind up
Knockback has an extremely long cooldown
His mesmerize effect is knocked off if the enemy takes damage, which happens alot without communication.
Without magical power he is basically useless

Reason for buying the items listed in the build

The reason i select these items is because the magical power adds a lot of damage to his abilities which is a lovely bonus but also to help his auto attack which is abysmal without good magical power. I also select these items as they all add a lot of health and mana and they convert health and mana to more magical power helping his damage, you may think items which give either magical or physical protection would be useful however if you're passive enough then this shouldnt matter, if you want you can switch some items out for a sovereignty or a breastplate of valor however it will damage his magical power damaging his basic attack and abilities.
