Athena powers up for a dash. While dashing, Athena will pass through minions, stop and hit the first enemy god she encounters, dealing damage. If she hits an enemy, Athena gains a stack (max 3), reducing the next source of Basic Attack damage from any god that hits her. Athena may also gain these stacks by hitting an enemy god with Reach, once per attack.

How to play?

The Beginning:
Be in the Jungle and make the Mana- and Speedcamp with a Sololaner. Then you can kill the Furies.
How to Gank with Athena:
Use your first abbility. then place your third abbility on the enemy and use your 2.
In early game fights you have to retreat after this combo.

Skills
+good support abbilities
+fast camp clear
+2 escape skills (1 and 4)
+High defense without defense items
+good combos with other ults or abbilities

-low damage in early game
-you need a good team for the ult and ganks
-useless without abbilities (when silenced or on cooldown)

You don't even have Poly in your Athena jungle build? Poly is the most important item in an athena damage build, it makes her, and especially her (1)+3+2 combo strong as hell.

Also, I always like to buy attack speed on her, since her attack speed is pathetically low, this may just be my opinion, but in my athena jungle build I always have attack speed.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
