Hey Tlaloc,

So, from this build, I take it that you prefer this build to a Trans one or other alternative? Have you tried the other types, and what are your thoughts on them?

He might be a bit more interesting now, because he's always been a stronger early-game hunter, and his ult is now fairly short. The Disperse power buff is unlikely to have a huge effect.

Anyway, because of his scaling, I always figure Transcendence builds are probably optimal. I also figure, being more ability-focused, that Titan's Bane is also preferred for him...and the price drop is also nice.

Not to say that Devourer's Gauntlet and The Executioner buffs aren't nice, but...figure that most probably build more like:
Question...so does Shifting Sands' damage boost help with crit scaling as well? Meaning...if your base damage that you'd deal on a basic was 200 after mitigations, at full build you'd deal 480 on a crit, but if you also had them in Sands at level 5, would it increase that 480 by another 20% (to 576)? If so, I can see crit working very nicely.

Anyway, just curious on your thoughts.

Thanks for the suggestions. Well, I almost always prefer Devos because I don't have to worry about lifesteal later. I also prefer crit over qins for a certain reason.

I hope you don't mind if I add an alternate build based around qins and pen.

This is also to answer your question: So I did some testing. You were right! Works quite well. Crit and the deathbringer passive apply first, then follows the Shifting Sands effect. So if I did 100 basic attack damage after mitigations, and I have Deathbringer, my crit damage would be 288
