Am I Behind You? WHERE AM I!

Hello, My Name Is Jokinh. A little while back I decided I would try to start playing Loki, because he suited my play-style. Not long after I was hooked and could not stop playing him.
I've played Loki for a while now and I decided I would be making a guide on him since I feel
I know enough about him to help new players get into this amazing god.



THIS GUIDE IS ALL PERSONAL PREFERENCE/EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE LEARNED WHILE PLAYING LOKI!

Loki is a very versatile god if played correctly (as is very god [besides few])
Well we will start with Loki's pros.
Pros : High Mobility, High Burst Damage, Medium DOT Damage, HIGH Single Target Damage.
Cons : Low Health, CC's HURT BAD, Low Survivability (Unless you went life-steal, which I don't recommend)

While I don't have much to say about team work I will say that if played with the correct combo (See Skills Section) Loki will dominate the battlefield melting the back line carry's
as easily as a microwave melts warm butter.

GODS LOKI MAY BE PAIRED WELL WITH!

WHEN LOKI IS PLAYED AS ADC! - KEHPRI, ***BAKARNA, MOST HIGH CC GODS AND OR HIGH DOT DAMAGE GODS.

WHEN LOKI IS PLAYED AS JUNGLE (CONQUEST) - HE WILL DO AMAZING WITH MOST SOLO LANE GODS EARLY GAME BECAUSE OF HIS VERY HIGH EARLY DAMAGE (If the 1 is leveled).

WHEN LOKI IS PLAYED AS SOLO (CONQUEST) - LOKI WOULD BE AMAZING WITH MOST JUNGLERS JUST AS HE IS WITH MOST SOLO LANERS! - I highly recommend you do not play as solo lane

Also while on the topic of team work we need to discuss how Loki is almost certainly one of the most hated gods in the game! Please do not insta-lock Loki, I personally think these people are the reason the SMITE community hates Loki mains! And please play like a team member we under stand you are a assassin but this does not mean you are exempt from being expected to use, Wards, Sentry Wards, Team Abilites Like Frenzy (etc...)!


To sum up team work I ask you to work with your team as much as possible (EVEN IN SOLO LANE!) and communicate in the lobby with you're fellow team members about who you are WANTING to play (remember you do not have to always play Loki!), and figure out from there where you're teammates will go with their pick and even if you have to play maybe a mage or warrior or guardian or another god of that sorts.

So I'm not going to waste my time gabbering about random **** that no one wants to hear about Loki's skills here we will only cover the combo.

So personally this combo comes into play once you have Hydra's Lament.

So first I use my 1 ability and then while Hydra's Lament is still ready I will attack with my first blow. From there I will use my 3 ability and hit them again, then you use you 2 and try to body block them if you can but make sure you hit them with Hydra's Lament is ready on all attacks after abilities, then if they are still alive chase them down if possible and kill them with back basic attacks, then if they are still not dead use your ultimate (if available or possible) to finish them.

YOU CAN ALSO USE ULTIMATE TO ENGAGE BUT PERSONALLY I DON'T THINK THAT IS A VERY GOOD OPTION BECAUSE THEN THEY HAVE A VERY EASY ESCAPE AND YOU MAY BE HALF HEALTH BY THIS TIME FORCING YOU TO RETURN TO YOUR FOUNTAIN (if you don't have life steal).

To sum up this chapter all I really need to say is that if you use this combo correctly the enemy god will die 8/10 times (if everyone has their full build), but remember even if you die if this is done VERY quickly then you 1 might still be doing DOT damage and the chance is if you're team is communicating and you are announcing when you are going to gank then you will kill the enemy god with EASE especially when paired with a healing tank RA!
