HOG the purple buff and auto the big monster without activating her 2. Don't kill it until the ADC gets there!
There are a lot of health potions because you're going to be boxing. Get your 2 to full damage on the wave and then hit the ADC with it.
Using potions + her 1 for heal + the shell if things get scary, you shouldn't die. Just don't get ganked by the jungler at ~2 minutes.
I don't build Thebes anymore because I've realized that Ama typically gets bullied until she gets it fully stacked, and even then shes not that tanky.
Rushing immediate protections vs. stacking something that is already expensive has been working a lot better.
Midgardian Mail: Enemy team has 3+ auto-attack gods.
Spectral Armor: Enemy team has a lot of crit, and it's hurting.
Contagion: You want to rush antiheal + physical defense.
Tbh, I'm almost always going Shogun's just because it suits Amaterasu so well. I will still include these options though.
Instead of getting a Pestilence, I would most likely swap out Sov for Contagion if I needed to RUSH anti heal, or get a Toxic Blade later on.
Talisman works really well on Amaterasu right now, but I feel like it suits her a lot better in the solo lane.
I usually just get mantle because the stats + passive are really good and shes already CC immune for a very long time in her ultimate.
If they're team has a unnecessary amount of CC, either of the other 2 items wouldn't be bad though.
I always go shell first relic. It helps with fighting in duo + the upgraded version is really good too.
I would only get phantom veil if they have an Odin and our team has no leaps. Even then... I'd hesitate.
I would get a sundering spear if they have someone like a Nike, who I know is going to be annoying with their shield.
Otherwise, I usually just get Horrific or Heavenly depending on how I'm feeling that day.
Blink is an option if you want to Blink + ult.

1) Why Shifter's in a support build?
2) I'm assuming shifter's for more physical and ancile for more magical enemies? Or do I build both?
2. Usually it's 1 or the other yeah.
When do we build Shifter's if we build it at all?
Most Assassin supports I would build it, and maybe warriors like Achilles who can make use of the autos and scaling.
