Under Construction!

Unfortunately due to changes in the PTS a key item of this guide Rangda's Mask is no longer purchasable by Scylla. I will continue to play her on the PTS and do extensive theory crafting with her in the hopes of refining my Assassin Scylla build.

This guide is being archived and will be replaced by an updated version once complete.

Don't listen to those sleazebags, Alycia. XD

Initially looking at the build, I questioned the idea of Rangda's Mask in the 3rd slot. (FYI, you can now input Rangda's instead of your DB placeholder, as it's now in the system)

That said, you provide very good and well thought-out explanations for your choices. And yes, her Sentinel is a pretty unique escape and definitely helps make up for the lowered MS that Rangda's gives you.

Anyway, good explanations in your write-up for your item choices and why you choose them, including the option to delay Poly to 5th.

One quick note. On your writeup of Obsidian Shard, you say "Typically you don't want to mix flat with percent pen, so if you know you're going to build this item from the start then feel free to get [Shoes of Focus] instead of [Shoes of the Magi]." I disagree with this. Normally, the loss in penetration efficiency comes in mixing % protection reduction and % pen. Flat pen + % pen is perfectly fine.

Also, for all of your colored notations for the items, you can link to the database directly by adding a second bracket around each item (though it has to be spelled correctly...you have Chronos' Pendant with the apostrophe in the wrong spot). Like this:
Code:
[[Chronos' Pendant]]
Cool info on sieging. Good explanation on the assassin blink combo. Nice writeup on strengths and weaknesses of the combo, with good understanding shown.

One thing you might just mention (for those not in the know) is the point-skipping at level 8 to be able to get your 2nd point into your ult, and max Crush at 9.

Thanks for your help on this! Unfortunately I'm going to have to clear out this guide for the time being as they just made an update on the PTS and Rangda's is now locked to Guardians. According to them 'Masks are intended to be a unique item for gods who want to flex into other classes/roles' so yeah. Rangda's is no longer purchasable for Scylla :(

Just an FYI: Deathbringer is only available to physical gods; Scylla cannot buy it. That and magical gods can't crit.

Gulf, in the purchase order notes (question mark thing next to item) the author mentioned the deathbringer is a place holder for rangdas mask. He'll update it when our database shows rangdas mask is available.

He also explicitly mentions this in his guide

I build Deathbringer on Scylla only when I'm ahead. I think a crit mage build is okay for most mages, except maybe Artio (she can't crit in bear form).

Hope this helps!
