We all remember the destruction this god caused at the end of season 2. With his high
tanking ability, good team fight, unbeatable sustain and the ability to match or outbox many gods while still being the teams main frontline. This god was a powerhouse. He's since received many nerfs, mainly to his abilities and health, but I'm here to say that after the buff of him getting his root back, this god can easily make it back into the meta with the two builds that I have supplied. Have fun wrecking havoc on your foes, and remember to vote if you like this build or if you did well in multiple matches using it.
This god has some of the most sustain in the game, with his passive giving him temporary hp5 for every time he hits an ability, and this ability stacks. He has the capability for high amounts of damage and a very high tanking ability. And He has So much frontline potential with both builds.
Shoes Of Focus - This item provides two very much needed things, movement speed and cooldown reduction. Cooldown reduction is the most important thing on Xing Tian, it will allow you to deal massive damage many times and keep that passive running without having to use all your abilities.
BreastPlate Of Valor - Literally. Cooldown. Lost of it. Oh and the huge amount of physical protections helps keep hunters off early.
Ethereal Staff - Most of your power is going to come from this item, giving you 90 power and percentage health and mana from enemies, but it also gives you a ton of health so that is another reason why I like it so much.
Mail Of Renewal - Health and cooldown. Like seriously it was made for Xing Tian. Also it increases his already insane passive sustain. This item transforms Xing Tian from a beast into a 24/7 Frontline Beast.
All In All the Items are to give Xing Tian more survivability, full cooldown, and great stats. Since he is a guardian he doesn't need the power of a warrior, and can rely mostly on base damage and his passive.

Provide an explanation of the abilities and how you should use them
Crit isn't outdated at all. Hunters and Assassins build it all the time when i play (generic Rage, Deathbringer/Malice). Legion Helm is amazing actually.
Anyways, i played a few casual Arena and Joust games with the Bruiser Build. It absolute slays when you get to Staff and Void Stone (his early game is tough since you aren't doing much damage yet and cooldowns will screw you over). I love when you throw Gods into your Tower with the Ult, easy kills :)
