The Unstoppable Axe has come...
This build is a Bruiser build that has high ability damage and very high sustainablility. These attributes make up for Xing Tian's sub-par basic attack damage, while making him a great team fight or solo fight character. Hopefully this guide will help you to get an idea of what items go well with Xing Tian's abilities and form your own style! Any comments and suggestions are very helpful so give me your feedback!
During the start of the game Xing Tian is able to sustain well due to his passive ability, Smouldering Rage, which can be complemented by a vampiric shroud allowing for crazy healing and easy laning. Boots are always useful because of the flat movement speed increase and due to the Magic shoes being a part in one of Xing Tian's core items. Potions are bought in order to insure easy laning as well as to allow you to regenerate mana after harassing the enemy team.
Core item picks are the Shoes of the Magi because of the increase in magical power, movement speed, and penetration making for a good baseline item. The boots are followed by either an Ethereal Staff or a Spear of the Magi. The Ethereal Staff should be bought first if you encounter heavy aggression and the Spear should be chosen if your laning is going swimmingly.
The physical protection items inside of this build should only be built if you encounter heavy physical damage or they have a physical damage carry or ADC like Apollo. The Nemean lion mail works wonders against gods with fast attack speed at short or long range so this is a reliable pick. The mystic mail is a great item for team fights as well as for getting some damage on carries that will make them uncomfortable in lane. The last item, the witchblade is a VERY situational item. Personally I only use the witchblade against high basic damage carries with slow to medium attack speed. This renders their damage potential by reducing their attack speed and damage.
Magical protection, much like physical protection, should be bought if you encounter heavy magic damage while in lane or if the opposing team's damage type sways towards more magic damage instead of physical damage. Stone of Gaia is one of the most useful defensive items in the game. It gives massive amounts of health regeneration as well as protects you from magic damage, so buy it in any situation really. The Void Stone allows for Xing Tian's need to be close to his enemy in proximity turn into an advantage. the reduction of enemy magical protection as well as the good amount of magical power and protection makes this aura item a reliable choice. If you just need more reliable defense in lane the Bulwark of Hope is an item that procs a protective shield around your character if their health falls beneath 25%, making this item ideal for high level engagements as well as for soloing enemy gods.
Honestly these items could just have easily been classified as core items with how useful they are, but they are in their own separate category for a more detailed breakdown of each item and its uses. The Hide of the Urchin is one of my favorite items to use on Xing Tian because of its ability to stack more protections on top of his massive hp5 regain with his passive. It proves to be extremely helpful endgame in making Xing Tian into an unstoppable force of meat and rage. Finally, the Magi's blessing can absorb one hard CC effect, making it a monster in team fights, and allowing for added sustain.
Thanks for reading my guide! I hope it may help many people with becoming better players as well as helping veterans to come up with their own style of build. Any feedback is obliged and once again, thank you!
